Rumor: Criterion working on Need for Speed: Underground

Takedown

Won't argue takedown was a beast in it's own right, but for me it was too challenging, AI was damn tough so it ruined the fun for me a bit & driving was too troublesome in Split screen play me n my friends, my bro always ended up colliding with traffic cars so we mostly finished 3rd 4th or even last

Traffic checking was the best concept in burnout, simply loved Revenge perfect balance of skill & competitiveness

Black Box sucks and I'm glad they only make F2P games now.

At first i was glad black box were out of the NFS Gig, but as it turns out the real culprits are the EA Management who don't care what fans want & force developers to make stuff just for the $$$, most wanted didn't turn up anything as fans wanted & with Criterion you can mostly kiss a detailed story goodbye, don't blame black box for EA's shortcomings

What they developed until now didn't require a good story, but this year i wanted a good NFS Game with a story like we have played from Underground 1 to carbon, we rarely get arcade street racers these days, last good game was MCLA :(

^^ Played PGR3 for a short period but found it more enjoyable than the copy of PGR4 i own & played Blur, which was interesting, but kinda felt odd playing with real world cars in a kart racing style manner, and AI used those same kart racing style tactics like attacking you in the final lap so you go downhill from top 3 to last of the pack

Though after Bizarre got axed, i am glad some of those people who worked on blur found a better home with possibly my favorite kart racer of this gen Sonic & all-star racing transformed
