Resident Evil 2 Remake.

Enjoying it. Mostly old school metroidvania level design.

Have to say, am getting curious about original PS1 version now. Good thing I didn't purchased RE3 remake. Will definitely play PS1 version of it when I get the chance.

I don't think you need to. RE3 remake should be enough. You can youtube the rest.

RE PS1 games are unplayable in this era.

The ps1 versions have tank controls, and are nearly unplayable now. You can try the RE 1 and 0 remaster if you have an itch to try the tank controls.

I know. Loved em in Dino Crisis 2.

Was expecting a sh*t show but turned out it felt pretty responsive.

And the game was addicting. Couldn't finish it though cause gave away my Vita.

Just finished Black Mesa. The game is incredibly well made (for a fan remake) and the gameplay holds very well. Tried playing on the steam deck, but the gamepad controls were wonky, so had to switch back to the PC. The puzzles were good and the gunplay satisfying.

Highly recommended for anyone who has not played HL1.

Skyrim.

Had forgotten how good RPGs can be. This has that old school charm.

Just freed an old king from prison and started rioting/ civil war in one of the districts. All city guards are dead now. Just one of the side quests. Almost all of them are elaborate and game world changing like that.

In retrospect I now find it funny that people choose to focus on animation and lip syncing in a game like this. Like, there is an option for developers to make it as good as action games in a massive game like this. :giggle:
