TAZ Posted April 13, 2013 Report Share Posted April 13, 2013 Hi guys, my ps3 is 3 years old, its slim 250gb model. I have been playing uncharted 2-3 from very start. They used to run fine no problems whatsoever. But from the past year or so these games have started giving me problems. Like getting kicked from the matches, getting left out, some maps not loading etc etc. but other games MP work fine (Blops 2, fifa, gta). Also the connection is the same. I have googled it and read somewhere that its the lens of the ps3 which gets old and stops reading the maps on the lower layers. Is it true ? Is my ps3 dying ? Getting kicked from matches and left out..... it refers to the internet speed issues... i know u have the same internet connection and all..... but do you know that there was a issue where a undersea cable was disconnected and this might have been the reason... i have broadband with this too http://www.financialexpress.com/news/bsnls-internet-capacity-down-due-to-cuts-in-undersea-cable/1095650 I have better speed right now but im getting half of the subscribed broadband ......... It is important to be noted here that i have a lan cable connected to the ps3 and at times I get only 1-2 bars on the mp lobby.......it takes time for me to get the players...... 2. I dont think there is anything wrong with the lens... the reason being that uc3 blue ray disc has waves and all unlike uc2 or any other game.... i use to get stuck at the spinning ring thing every time when i loaded uc3 but then i found that internet was the issue.... the moment i dissconected my lan cable.... my cd loaded immediately...
