The LT/L2 used to be for fine skills like stepovers and all, while the right stick (without L2/LT) used to be for knocking the ball forward. EDIT: Thanks for the heads up For knocking now u need RT/R2 + right analog... So, if you push the right analog stick while not holding R2 (sprint), then they'll automatically do a close control touch/move. If you push it while sprinting, you knock the ball forward. But 1 thing, we r now used to press L2. through it is not required anymore now but still fingers are going on there instinctively. We have to bring back old days like before the fifa11. I never actually used L2 much, unless I was leading by 2-3 goals and I just wanted to try some tricks. All I ever used in attack were R2 + analog sticks + pass + shoot.
