WhiteWolf
Call of Duty: Ghosts Developer - Infinity Ward Publisher - Activision Series - Call of Duty Platforms - Current and Next-Gen consoles Release Date - November 2013 All downloadable content for Call of Duty will launch first on Xbox One as timed exclusives. The game will include all new characters in a new world, rendered on an all-new engine. Stephen Gaghan, writer of Traffic and Syriana, is working on the script. Players will also have dogs as part of their squad, rendered from scans of real service dogs. The dogs can protect the team and sniff out explosives. Maps will be dynamic and will feature events like earthquakes and floods. Player-driven events like opening doors and explosive traps will also alter the flow of the map. "It will be the best Call of Duty game we've ever made," said Activision's Eric Hirshberg. Developer Sledgehammer Games, who assisted in development on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, noted via Twitter that the studio is not involved with Ghosts, though recent job listings suggest the company is working on a Call of Duty title. RV1709
Zod..it sold that much only because of the cod name. It was hardly a decent game...online or offline. Treyarch does it better
Heaven Angel
New CoD engine? nothing revealed...Tesco listed cod by mistake (may be)..They also listed New Halo. Here are the one month old rumored details: Call of Duty: Ghosts. Activision toyed with Call of Duty: Phantoms, but settled on Ghosts. Steering away from "Modern Warfare" to start its own thing, though is still kinda Modern Warfare 4. Set in the future, kind of like Black Ops, but with current generation weaponry. Some plot event forces people of that time period to use our generation weapons. Dynamic loading screens, as in the traditional loading countdown is replaced with some kind of animated sequence (rappel in from chopper, sneak in, etc). Movement changes. Dash->slide+shooting. Corner peeking. Prone left/right roll. Spec Ops gone, replaced with new mode. Team aiming for more destructive environments. Working in single player, but team is having some issues with implementing it in multiplayer. Launching only on next generation consoles: NextBox, PlayStation 4, and PC. Reveal sometime around the start of May.
