Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time, a sequel to PopCap Games' undead-themed tower defense game, is coming in July, according to a trailer released today on YouTube.

 

 

 

Check out the trailer above for a montage of Plants vs. Zombies fans clamoring for a sequel, including some internet celebrities and Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb. No platforms have been announced, but the series' first installment made its way to many platforms, including Windows PC, Mac, iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

I wasn't being sarcastic. It was the only time I could find to finish it. I played it during bf3, blops (searching for game) and borderlands 1&2. I do the same thing with pokemon and some snes games.

PopCap has announced that Plants vs. Zombies 2: It’s About Time will hit iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch worldwide on July 18th. The game will be free-to-play with upgrades and in-game items available for purchase, though PopCap notes that “players can face every zombie and access every level in every world at no cost.”

 

No PC version.

 

Happy that I can play on my iOS device, sad I cannot play on PC.

BTW is no one worried about the fact that this is F2P with IAP? Reeks of buy-to-win or grind for in-game cash.

 

Anyway, I'm still looking forward to it. PvZ has been one of my go-to games on iOS/Android for a long time.
