Rosh
So can someone tell me what's exactly different from the first and this?
Heaven Angel
^^New stages, new plants and zombies..that's it. Gameplay and everything else is same. Good news is: It's FREE TO PLAY Bad news is: You get limited plants..You have to pay for good plants. Will try it today or tomorrow. https://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/plants-vs.-zombies-2/id597986893
ALPHA17
Are they trying ruined this beautiful game or what? Corrected. So can someone tell me what's exactly different from the first and this? Spend more cash on virtual goods, more micro-transactions and a little extra just to confirm its monetisation.
Heaven Angel
Game is F2P just like other iOS games with micro-transactions. You can skip all in-game purchase and play normal game. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2013-07-15-what-the-soft-launch-code-reveals-about-the-new-free-to-play-plants-vs-zombies-2 Installing
ALPHA17
^^ Don't worry, EA will gut the balance in the economy in such a succinct manner, it would be GRIND-2-play or PAY-2-win.
Rohan Seth
Except the fact that the good plants are not free anymore and I'm sure there will be a level where you WILL require those plants. Having a reasonable amount of micro-transactions is fine but this is just too much. EDIT: One of the comments on the download page of the game. It's just the same as every time EA buys a game: it gets worse and worse. The whole game has turned into a money rig; after the first 11 levels they want you to pay 6.49$ to play the next 11 levels. After playing those, you are again forced to pay 6.49$ to play on etc...If you don't want to pay, you have to play the old levels again twice, sometimes even thrice, and collect stars in order to get to the next levels. I would have preferred a paid full version of the app rather than paying for everything.
Heaven Angel
Hmm..I'll better grind than paying $7 USD for levels.. =\ Y EA, Y U HITTING NAIL ON YOUR OWN HEAD? Y U WANT PEOPLE TO HATE YOU? So sad to see this.
(A)Kira
Goodbye PvZ. I'll just be playing the previous version over again.
Heaven Angel
Okay played up little bit. Game runs and plays very smooth. It's lot more fun that previous game. -> gotta admit! You can play the game without any purchase from store. However to proceed to next world, you have to pay, unless you can grind and get all stars. (I don't mind grinding as PvZ is fun.) but you CANNOT unlock any plants which sucks big time. Snow Pea and Jalapenos are awesome and costs $3 - 15 (for AU/NZ). =\ Even for some new plants you have pay. I'd have purchased day 1 for $15-20 with all plants and levels instead of this. Hopefully Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is not F2P like this. If you have any iOS device, do give it a try.

Rohan Seth
I wasn't really expecting anything better from EA. Unka F2P yahi hota hai. Look at their other F2P games.
