Heaven Angel
played the closed beta, feel so good there are few bugs and need bit polishing, but apart from that, it's nicely done. Waiting for full version!
dante77
Is there SP or just co-op? And how is combat? Action rpg like DA?
Heaven Angel
Both. You can play solo SP or co-op with friends. It's more like Diablo/Torchlight 2 (just better)..Hack and Slash (m1-m2) type RPG with nice set of perks, upgrades, etc.

Heaven Angel
Previews: If the combat system doesn’t sound like your cup of tea then you’re almost certainly not going to enjoy The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing as its essentially the crux of the game, but if you’re a fan of old school top-down RPGs like Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Planescape: Torment then you’re probably going to want to check it out. Atmospherics and character aside, what makes The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing so appealing is that whilst the main quest of the game is very absorbing, there is a wealth of side quests and exploration to reward those that want to uncover that last bit of fog on the map, and we aren't talking grinding missions where you must talk to some guy, go and kill a bunch of things and bring him back the stuff that is dropped, oh no, we're talking taking down mini-bosses, solving puzzles, locating runestones, convoying merchants and even reuniting a dead man with his body! http://www.gamercast.net/van-helsing-preview http://www.ggsgamer.com/2013/05/08/preview-the-incredible-adventures-of-van-helsing/
Heaven Angel
Loving this game so far. Had some downloading issues (18gb game size ), but so far, it's good. Worth every penny, it's just $10!

Heaven Angel
No reviews yet except this: http://www.softpedia.com/reviews/games/pc/The-Incredible-Adventures-of-Van-Helsing-Review-355506.shtml EDITOR'S RATINGS: Story: 8/10Gameplay: 9/10Concept: 9/10Graphics: 8/10Audio: 9/10Multiplayer: 6/10 Overall: 8.5/10 Metacritic score: 86 http://www.metacritic.com/game/pc/the-incredible-adventures-of-van-helsing I have munched 6 hours straight and having great fun. Very good price for hack and slash aRPG with nice big environment, nice characters, music. Golden! .
Tyler
Yeah it's a very good game and the price is icing on the cake. I have been playing it for almost a month since I pre-ordered this and was a part of the closed beta. The gameplay is your typical Diablo style hack-n-slash with a few interesting changes and a Torchlight-like "pet" (which in this case is a ghost-lady). The voice acting and banter between the two characters is quite nice as well. @Dante, the game is very similar to Diablo / Torchlight / Titan Quest. And yes this is a digital release only. There's a co-op mode as well. But it is largely a single-player story-driven action RPG.
sudarsan
so PS3 version will be the definitive version
Heaven Angel
1) Full version is already released and it works great. 2) There will be no PS3 version at all Van Helsing > TL2/D3, imo! Much much better. About to finish the game (in act 3 at the moment). Cannot wait for episode 2 and 3.
Django_3101
How big is the game in terms of hours?
