Also, if you guys had any idea into how much work goes into organising tournaments, and the money the sponsors lose on doing so, you wouldn't be making such selfish comments.

If you dont want to come, thats well and good, frack off. But try dont spoil the tournament for others.

 

There is definately not even 1 good organiser in india, but what can we do?... Why dont you try your hand at organising one, even a small 10 team one, and then talk.

Just because there aren't enough tournament organisers in India, doesn't give the ones that are there to do as they please and be biased, if that is what happened. We're better off not having a tournament than raising people's hopes of winning 20 lakhs only to find that the winner was already decided (again, assuming that's what happened).

 

And by the way, Vixture was a very profitable event for EA, one of the tournament's sponsors

 

 

The major issue that took center-stage on the final day is the accusation of hacking and cheating by Gaming Godz as thought they were gods! along with Virtual Knights. Their point was that Team.LSG - Plan A and Team.LSG - Plan B who were the only team that averaged over a 100 frags a match were on steroids (lol) and hacked! The evidence that they felt was proof enough was taken by a cell phone camera which was 20 feet away from the computer screen. They video showed footage that the game was shut and a window was opened which they alleged was a note-pad file and that Team.LSG - Plan A made alternations in the in-game file. God only knows what client changes they made that affected the dedicated server (lol). Eventually after a lot of discussion and deliberations, these whinners were shown the door as the videos were inconclusive and the matter was put to rest. Phew! The arguments that ensued during the allegations were quite amusing... check this out:

- Mouse cannot have drivers (lol, but some mouse have balls)

- 24 frags were scored in 7 seconds by Team.LSG - Plan A (guys try this out at home with zombie bots and post us the results)

- How can someone shoot through walls (ting tong ever heard of 'spamming'!)

- Who the hell are you and why are you standing behind gamers in a live match (can u beat this, this was asked to the EA representative of India Mr. Yashdeep! Well as you can imagine he gave a fitting reply)

 

Mr moderator/organiser/game jockey, whoever you are, this is pathetic. Just goes to show how unprofessional this IGL is and how biased you are. Get a life and while you're at it, learn to write. Writing proper grammar doesn't mean it has to be boring. All you've done is ruined IGL's reputation with that shitty write-up.

 

And by the way, isn't it a standard rule in all contests, tournaments and competitions that family and friends of organisers are not allowed to participate, or was that one rule conveniently left out in this tournament?

 

Whether or not there was cheating in this tournament, its clear that IGL cannot be trusted to organise an unbiased tournament. I urge gamers not to waste their time with any of their future events, unless of course, you can manage to become their "friends" first

still no proof abt n e 1 hacking ...even we r waiting for the video to be published ... i hope the 1s with it rnt taking time off to make some alterations to it !

I'm not sure how much I care enough to remember all these details and what's being written here, grammar notwithstanding. And Aks is moron, not because he won or anything, but because he can't convey a point in less than three sentences. Fancy text is fancy.

 

Considering the money involved and the reasonable participation levels, such an uproar is not out of the ordinary. What would be appreciated is someone from Vixture making a public statement about this and representing them here on GI to answer the queries posed by members. It will go a long way towards clearing the air about the happenings at this tourney and will help to improve their image, which frankly, is down the toilet at the moment.

 

I echo these thoughts strongly, but if EA isn't gonna bite - I doubt Zero Friction will either. Just saying~

Hack at a LAN event...! Have you ever EVER EVER? been a part of a professional LAN event? I hear you say WCG BLA SHLA KLA, you won't qualify one round with the spirit you have. I GUARANTEE that you will get owned 100 times more than you got at Vixture. Sheesh! Please oh please....

 

Yes i have been part of many events in the past and even in this so-called professional event.

I dont know how it works in Cuckooland but around here we fight arguments with arguments.

 

Favoritism is part of any game. Have Bangladesh and Australia match being played in Australia. WHO DO YOU THINK WILL GET FAVORED? At the end of the day you will say Australia doesn't need that but they will get it anyways in their home land. Same goes for LSG, Ghanti is a regular player at Cafe LSG, he wasn't allowed to play for a month... heck no one was allowed to play for a month before Vixutre. Only PLan A and PLan B practiced over there for 6-8 Hours straight.

 

So you believe you were the australia in this event? You think all the crowd were cheering for you guys only? Think again, there is no defending champion in crysis, so no favoritism here. unless you are trying to prove that you were organizer's special children, well in that case that is what we are trying to prove here.

 

Please stop this now, i was kinda happy that this was happening. I "might" do the same to an extent if i lost. BUT OH MY GOD....for so long... WHERE THE HECK IS THE GOD DAMN PROOF YOU WUSSES?

 

As for NYPD, have they failed to mention that they were the only team that came close to beat us? Ask them... i HAVE no clue why they are complaining.... seriously absolutely no clue...

abt the demos...

Well the comp dealers (Xtreme Gaming again) were the guys responsible for all the viewing and demo recording business. They were specially got in by EA. They said a 1st person view option aint available in the game on spectator mode. And they dint record the demos .

 

Using the desktop was allowed. only change that cld be made was going into the control panel and changing the windows mouse sensitivity. The only arguement that i had with the video was .... nothing was clear ( y doesnt the guy who showed the video jus upload and get the matter shut) nothing can be seen .... just a white box opening. which as he insists is a notepad file ...cld easily have been the windows control panel. nothing is clear what soever in the video.

So in order , if some1 is making such a big accusation and trying the creditability of the organiser ...a VERY CONCRETE proof is reqd. Something that they cldnt provide ! It was told to the ppl who were crying fowl ... that if proved LSG , they would b kicked out of the arena. But no solid proof was given !

 

So why were the commentator constantly saying NOT to quit the games and just change the nicks?

 

 

Abt t7 and GFT

The 1st game they played was crysis ...and well none of their "Really really pissed off moods" showed there , they just had an issue that both the teams wanted to sit on the US side. so a toss was done to decide that.

I am not talking about their first day. I am talking about the second day when they were made to face each other. And NO. One team arrived late but one team didn't arrive! so someone should've got a walk over. (but of course, its your event, your rules and your winners)

 

abt the preference ....

Preference abt wot ?? Lsg wasnt the top team. they qualified jus 4th .... plan b dint even qualify. So what preference are u talking abt ? !!

 

I am sorry but i fail to understand this. On your website you yourself has posted the mumbai qualifiers news stating "Team LSG rocks mumbai qualifiers". so really, what to you mean?

You, an Official mod/game jockey/admin, posted an OFFICIAL, no where else to be found, coverage and news for the Vixture event. And lets see. Even Saudi arabia, the country known for their weirdest laws accept a plea from a raped woman if she provides atleast 3 men as witnesses.

 

Now around here, so many people are accusing, many of whom didn't even play against LSG or didn't play at all. Isn't that proof enough?

 

And anyways, proof is given to arbitrators. Which technically you Vixture guys are. But the truth is that even you guys are being questioned. So even the most concrete proof might not work here.

Crysis, mario or whatever. how are you so sure that you go as far as to write that team LSG was the most serious team on winning this? I repeat. The teams who came from other cities just came to mumbai for time pass?

 

I think it is IGL guys who should be blamed for showing such tremendeous partiality. May be the Zero friction is not even aware that the organizers they appointed are being accused of fixing the event's winners.

OK dunno abt this quote thinggy ...so not using it ... lets go point by point ....

 

1. The comps wernt of very high sensi ...and there were many technical issues coming up ... so we were telling as far as required not to shut the games down.

 

2. its the 1st game i have written thr ... not 1st day ! i know wot game ur talking abt . It was raining that day ...and we waited for teams as much as we could. its not like 11 am match ...u dnt come by 11.05 u get DQ. plz none of that sort happened. t7 was scheduled to play flashbang (who dint turn up). so the match was on hold while other games cont. then came GFT's game and Twain was missing too . we had a time slot to stick and cldnt w8 any more. so both the kolkata teams were made to face each other ... it was jus by chance it happened ... we dint try to make that match ... jus got done in the circumstances.

 

3. The LSG rocks mumbai qualies ...was with respect to the 2 teams setting records in crysis.No team till that point had breached the 100 frag mark in 10 mins. which 1 of em did. i guess ur jus commenting reading the headlines ... not the full story. do me a favour read the whole thing 1st. Speed strikers from mumbai came 1st ..

 

4. man seriously ... y r u coming up with words ur self !! "OFFICIAL" coverage or news !!! if nowhere mentioned ! We jus wanted ppl who missed the show to get a full in depth know how ...of how the 3 days went by. i guess we made a mistake huh ! shldnt be giving pics to ppl .... or n e thing or covering an event ! u were a spec thr ! not every1 came !Y is it that u jus see insulting other teams . we have made fun of so much other stuff ! u dnt notice that ??!! well i guess u jus pay attention to whrever u wanna n ignore the rest !

 

5. india complaints to icc regarding n e thing ...they ask for proof ! u make some political party get some 100 ppl n make noise outside the ICC office without n e proof ... all of em will egt a kick up their backside ...

the word whinners is being used ...cos when they had to come up and say they had doubts abt n e team ... no1 came ... jus 4 turned up ! and now after the tourney is over u come out n show ur dis agreement in forums! thats absolutely useless !

 

6. exactly my point ! "SO MANY PPL WERE COMPLAINTING WHO DINT PLAY LSG" i dint see n e of these so many ppl . U guys must have been discussing it amg urselves ! just 4 ppl came fwd ! n i have said that again n again ! Well i travelled all across ..wherever vixture elims happened. i saw the "how much the teams had practiced " crysis ! man 60% of the ppl dint know the controls ! 1 day i tell them how to change their names .. next day they cldnt even rem. that ! except for a select few ... not more than 10 teams actually seemed to have done n e kind of practise on crysis. ppl dnt even know the maps ! in the finals on the 2nd round ... ppl still were asking me for controls ! and dint know how to change controls to default ! or change their crosshair ! man is this practise ?!! gr8 so now i know how much they practised ! & the whole arguement abt NYPD n gaming godz. well NYPD was leading lsg for almost 5 mins .... then every1 was cheering them ! they lost it in the last 2 mins when lsg pulled away ! Man wots so unfair abt that !! they cldnt capitalise on thier lead ! abt gaming godz ...well they were beaten by a team 77-6 sumthing on the 1st day ! and gaming godz came back to qualify winning the console games ! so u can see how much "practise" they had done ! the captain of gaming godz spoke to me ! he said .. only i know the maps and have some practise ... rest havent played since the delhi elims! " (i am jus talkin with respect to ppl who complained, ur so many ppl ... i still dunno who they are ! )
