Well i need decent headsets for PS3, budget around 8k max. Thinking of Pulse Elite (Can go higher for it only), any better headset? I will be playing cod, battlefield, rocksmith with them. Please suggest, sound quality should be sexy and i am also a loud listener sometimes...

I want to ask you something about headsets. Can we hear in-game audio with it?All the sounds which the PS3 usually outputs through HDMI or AV-out?

And if yes, then is this feature only available in the official Sony headsets like this Pulse?

Yea, we can hear in-game audio, music, movies, connect it to mobile, pc,ipod, etc. It have 7.1 virtual surround sound for games and music and BassImpact... And other headsets (usb/wireless with dongle) does play in-game audio...

I am using a USB headset and is there any way to make all the output audio come through the headphones? I tried changing it in the settings and that doesn't work.

Unless its a ps3 specific stereo headset you can't , the only way to get game audio to a headset is to either buy the sony stereo ps3 headset that uses a usb dongle or buy a 3rd party ps3 stereo headset that connects through the ps3's a/v cables audio connection to get that audio to the headset

The ps3 does not push audio through the usb connection in other headsets or to bluetooth.

Each piece coated me 25 bucks at Nehru place ke thele waale .

Basically you can set up audio out and video out different, so set up the stock cable like this. Choose audio out as RCA and video out as HDMI .

The in built volume control of PS3 is of little help but the max volume is of a good level and any headset can be used , my audio technica M50 sound epic .

I used a clip on Bluetooth headset which I got with my Sony Ericsson Aino, it works well , set Bluetooth audio out as default , whenever battery is out I use the PS eye and put it on my lap. Hope this helped

If you need volume control bad you can always buy a Fiio E5 , its a good amp and can be used by other devices too to improve sound quality by leaps and bounds.
