Aftrunner
Genuinely puzzled why its on the PC now. They clearly arent expecting it to sell more than a few thousand units tops. I mean, I am not a "EVERYTHING ON STEAM OR NO BUY" kind of guy. Less DRM the better. Hell, I have Uplay installed so you know I am not picky. But really who would ever even know the game is released on the Windows store? That is where apps and games go to die.

KyoyaHibari
It's simple as that M$ see a future where they can become a direct competitor to Steam That's why they are willing to risk even the slightest chances they have left of coming back against Sony in the console business They will soon release all!! of their big names on PC to boost windows live on PC Expect even Halo MCC to release on PC very soon They know the war against Sony is lost for this entire gen. That's why they are trying to make as much of good use of their Ip's to make a foot hold in the PC business as they can Nice monologue. ALPHA17
That's why they are trying to make as much of good use of their Ip's to make a foot hold in the PC business as they can Well, putting those on the Windows Store is as good as not releasing them on the PC currently. ALPHA17
Basically everything that attracted consumers over playstation would do so over steam as well Out of these I think Gears already released once on PC, so was HALO up-to the second outing and both were saddled on that sad excuse of a game client called Games For Windows Live. Considering they have made absolutely zero effort to bring over older GFWL titles on the new store or somehow invest in some compatibility modes for these games, good luck trying to compete with STEAM. Sure competition is good but not when competition equates to, you buy this stuff only on our store or no where else and no we do not respect any of your expectations. Yeah, it is going to be no point, it will die a prolonged, painful death. Just like its predecessor did Games For Windows Live and so spectacularly that people got STEAM codes for their existing games or got their games migrated to STEAM from the developer side.

ALPHA17
If I had a PC I would have bought gears, quantum break,Scalebound, recore if they were good & online service worked without problems I don't why it would have problem if it's super smooth on Xblive Problem is they have released something and it is janky and that is without counting the lack of features that they have accepted themselves. KnackChap
Remedy has confirmed to us that the live-action episodes that play following each act of the game will stream to your Xbox One or Windows 10 PC remotely when the game launches in April. hahahahaha. the live action cutscenes need an active internet connection. http://www.gameinformer.com/b/news/archive/2016/03/01/quantum-break-live-action-scenes-streamed.aspx?utm_content=bufferfbc64&utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=buffer

WhiteWolf
You can also download them to your HDD as well if you want... While the idea of having to be connected to the Internet to avoid filling up your hard drive is less than ideal, Remedy's decision here makes sense. With 40 different variations on the show (all in 1080p on Xbox One or 4K on PC), the file size has to be substantial. Thankfully, the option to download them to your Xbox One is there if you are lucky enough to have however much space they require on your console. They did it to save disc space and HDD space.. Live action cutscenes are not main part of the game now..Live action scenes provide you with some backstory about main bad guy nothing else.. WhiteWolf
I hope levels are wide open with enough to roam to flank enemies from different direction..If it's a linear corridor shooter with no room to move around then i will not even bother finishing it.. Just can't handle corridor linear games now. Hmm.. interesting watch in hd Edited March 2, 2016 by WhiteWolf
