Only 10hrs gameplay F** T** S***....now i .will not spend more than Rs500-800 on this game .whenver it comes to that price on pc

It was known. 6-10 hours gameplay.

Length: Approx. 7 hours (plus 80 minutes for the TV component)

Reviews will be good if we go by the previews out there.

I predict around 8.5-9 on metacritic.

scores are on par with the last of us.

Gamespot: 6/10

THE GOOD

  • Impressive visuals
  • Great environmental destructability
  • Effective performances from a great cast
  • Time powers enable great creativity during combat

THE BAD

  • Sloppy movement and weapon controls
  • The element of choice isn't as powerful as it seems
  • Forced, unimaginative platforming sections

Trigger

^Scores are not as bad Order and Ryse but still quite low for a Remedy game. :(

Game will definitely fail in sales now and we will never get AW 2 coz this will permanently end partnership between MS and Remedy..

MS have spent lot of money on QB by hiring expensive Hollywood actors but looks like they will not make any money back.

I will not be getting the game at launch now. Will wait for a price drop. :(

I hope this is not the end of Remedy

While on the technical side....

Wow lot of high praise from DF. :O Aside from minor technical issues in shadows and volumetric lightning. Game looks and runs solid without any issues.

Character model and visuals are better than ROTR running in 1080p according to DF.

Eurogamer : Verdict -

It's as a spectacle that Quantum Break really triumphs, a showcase of excellence on Remedy's behalf as it creates an experience that's aggressively handsome, delivered with great visual flair. When those firefights break out into noisy showers of sparks, pockets of fractured time and splinters of scenery, Quantum Break shows the magic that can happen when you give a handful of demoscene veterans a Hollywood budget.

Scratch away at that and you've got a watchable TV series wrapped around a focussed and competent game, but Remedy's keen sense of style manages to elevate Quantum Break to something just about worthwhile. Maybe it's because of how eccentric the whole enterprise is. There's never been anything like Quantum Break, and it's hard to imagine there ever being anything like it again: more often for better than for worse, Remedy's strange hybrid feels like an adventure out of its own time.

Scores are better than Order if you compare them overall.

Also there are no annoying black bars and game has more variety and depth than Order and Ryse..

It's things like TV show and how it affects the game nd all is not done properly, but gameplay wise it's a competent shooter according to reviews.

MS is serioisly lagging behind good "exclusives" library.

On a another note I wonder how much more sale halo 5 would have made if it was available on PC as well along with cross platform play.

Sunset overdrive

Forza Horizon 2

Forza 6

Killer Instinct

Ori and The Blind forest

Last year's Rise of Tomb raider and Halo 5 were also good. ROTR not out on PS4 yet, d

so technically it's MS platform exclusive :P

MS has lots of good first party games.

And You have to count Windows version of Xbox games also now coz MS will release their games on their both platforms. It's their strategy from moving forward. Where you play them doesn't matter to them.

QB also looks like a decent enough game. AW scores were also not earth shattering but people enjoyed it a lot.

Division scores are also low but Iam playing it daily for dailies :P

Kotaku -

Despite how pedestrian some aspects of the game may be, I concluded Quantum Break feeling like something new had happened. Something special had happened that more than compensated for some of the flatness of the story and the mostly rote gunplay. A game simply never worked like this before, nor has a TV show. Because of that, what might have otherwise been ordinary feels extraordinary.

Polygon - 8.5

Remedy's touch and style is all over Quantum Break, which is a strength and, at a few points, a weakness as well. But it's more than that, a real transmedia experiment — I know how it sounds — that succeeds in ways that other games don't even try. There's some wonky shooting and a few cringe-worthy story cliches present. But ineffective cover systems and narrative fridges notwithstanding, Quantum Break feels like the first action game taking real lessons from the Netflix binge-watch era, and in that respect, it's a surprising success.

All these reviews including slackerninja's are enough to convince me to give this game a shot on day one. And hope that Remedy and MS continue to collaborate.
