It isn't the ultimate Remedy game, but it isn't bad at all.

Did you also get the DLCs? They're essential to the story.

Well, no. The base game was on sale for steam and i just bought it. Didn't know that dlcs are essential. Once i finish the game, i would then buy the dlcs.

I think the PC version of the game has both the DLC's bundled by default.

At-least that was the case with my physical copy, I even got the OST, which in my opinion is highly under-rated.

Yea, the game has a really nice OST. And there are a few licensed tracks that you can play from the main menu too.

All this for 2499. Those were the days :|

Average games deserve to do well. Just like average movies.

There's got to be a market for B-tier. As it stands now, it's either Metacritic 90+ or bust.

And come on, it wasn't that bad :P

If average games do well then where is the incentive to make great games?

I am not saying it was a bad game. It just wasnt great either. Why would people expect it to sell in the millions is beyond me. It got the sales and the critical reception it should have. There are better games that had it worse.

Plus look the bright side, it bomba-ing on the 360 meant they had to release a PC version to make some more money. So more people got to play it. There is your silver lining. :P

I remember seeing the trailer for this and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on a DiGit disc way back in 2006 when both games were starting to get on the hype tread. Both were to launch on PC then and this one just dropped off the RADAR next year.

Alan wake was great, fuk the Haters Lmao. Best xbox exclusive after Halo.

But tbh, I hear this a lot for the game. Seems like a love it/hate it relation for the game.

True, it wasn't a bad game game, but not a great game either, average at best, repetitive gameplay n bad writing (the dialogues, a lot of it sounded like it was written by a 12 year old) didn't help at all.

This was the biggest problem I had with it

Which is why I don't have high hopes for QB.
