I guess they are mostly to do with weapon duplications and unlimited money.

BTW one exploit of earning survivor xp is that in night time stay near the secure zone. Then attract the volatiles so that they attack you, run around and then back in safe zone. You earn pursuit xp. Rinse and repeat.

I am having some insane fun in this game.

 

And yeah night time is tough. Anyone managed to kill the night time zombies whatever they are called (volatiles?) I threw 2 Molotovs on one and nothing happened to it. I ran away.

Killed few,it can be killed the best way to kill them is by using light trap (pressing V button on KB)

 

yeah game is insane fun better than dead island for me,night time is not tough just focus on map and volatiles radar, you get the best loots only at night.

What does the UV light do? Only used for stunning them?

Yes, only for blinding the zombies during the darkness of the night.

@Big Boss Yes.

@Zodak i also get FC feel a lot when you get proper gun + parkour=FC.

Completed the game - Story is okay and missions close to the ending felt repetitive and boring.

Once we get guns, is ammo sufficient? Or is it like full on survival game?

You have to conserve it but game always gives you enough ammo when you fight humans,so make a habit of using guns only on human don't waste on zombies,means ammo sufficient only for that mission mainly.

Tips :-

Also carry atleast one gun in you backpack.

Spam Search (Q button on KB) and Kick (E on KB).

also one very useful skill is dodge and throw zombie in any direction (useful when you fight them on a cliff)

Using Grappling hook is fun.

When you attack Rais fortress to save the doctor.

Almost at the mid of the game.

How to get sample of bolter? I managed to kill it but there are too many volatiles around who kicked my a*s.

If Bolter is surrounded by too many Volatiles then goto a nearest Safe house and wait till night again...Keep trying till Bolter is alone and not surrounded by Volatiles...This method worked for me during that mission...
