Black_Hawk
Bookmarked those weapon video, thanks Zodak. Surviving and completing missions at night is a beastly task... those damn Volatile's are mighty aggressive! How many hours you putting in Zodak? With office and work I'm putting in about 2-3 hours max every evening-night.

Black_Hawk
I'm still on the early stages of the game and the main missions have been fun so far... side missions haven't seemed repetitive at all. However, I have read here on one of the posts that towards the end of the game the missions do get a tad monotonous. So far though, this game has been very challenging and I am enjoying the play-through. Night gameplay is a ballgame of it's own I tell you!! As a side note, strangely enough I never liked the Dead Island series and never really got on with any of those games... :/ Edited February 4, 2015 by Black_Hawk
joken732a
Wtf @topic How are the main missions and side quests? Are they repetitive? Its decent but near the end missions are frustrating and bit boring. FIghts are not tough but its that climbing section in the third last and last mission kick your a*s. Especially the last mission QTE boss fight :/ and that climbing section. Is it trend nowadays to do QTE main boss fight? joken732a
Clocked around 38 hrs and did almost everything, got it on the launch day itself.Story mission can be completed under 15hrs if you rush. Black_Hawk
I see. Are the side missions worth doing or do they get hackneyed later on? I think missions which send me out to collect 'herbs' I will safely steer away from.

Black_Hawk
What do 'Light Traps' do exactly? I usually trigger them at nights but don't really realize what they end up doing when triggered...

ox-
Holyshit, Night gameplay is quite scary and challenging.. ..Is there a way to kill those special zombies? :| I tried fighting them but they killed me in 1 hit lol... Just use survivor sense and avoid them. If they notice you, just run. You are not a hero. It's better to run Anyways, You can also use the UV Light to buy some time (if you can't outrun them without it)

Done with the game best weapon is Air strike,Angel sword and Korek Machete for me. WhiteWolf
Use to distract zombie or even kill them. Done with the game best weapon is Air strike,Angel sword and Korek Machete for me. Level 22 Survivor Premium Orange Katana and Remarkable Orange Medival sword beats all of them... You can repair them 5 times plus 60+ Durability and over 1000 damage.. I killed a Demolisher and 2 Volatiles in few hits with a Premium upgraded Katana...
