I was thinking about it too,but went with the base game. For me its a challenge finishing open world game and i never get around playing the dlc's ,so that helped me decide.

Just started the DLC will post my impression soon .

Dev misunderstood why we loved dying light I guess because they chopped off parkour in the DLC its 99% buggy and 1% parkour (They removed the core mechanic of the base game somewhat).

If you think like you can just avoid buggy and go on a quest just like base game you can't because objectives are far away, map is like an open field and way less area/thing to climb :/

Well, that was the whole point of the DLC. You leave the urban area behind and explore countryside.

Something new, and it was done well. If it had been same parkour, it would left players burned over time. Now you have different things in game, which is good.

Anybody tried recently the dying light glitches on PS4 for fast survival, agility and duplicate item glitches??

Just returned to dying light after about a month or two and forgot how much fun it is. Also this game has so many weird subtle touches. Never noticed it before but I was up a post surveying the surroundings. It was almost nightfall and suddenly all the zombies around stopped moving and stared at the setting sun. Was about 15 secs and then they went back to shambling about. So f**king creepy and probably why I like this game a lot. Damn good job by Techland.

This game is so much fun. Spent about an hour luring zombies out onto the wooden docks and then kicking them off and watching them drown

 

Every time I decide to play a mission I forget what I'm doing and just run around kicking the idiots and jumping from the rooftops. The parkour is superb and once you get a rhythm going its damn cool.

Pit mission? The boss battle? Then no, I messed up and lost my stash.
