Its release was followed shortly by a trilogy of downloadable content packs, that were normally available separately for US$9.99 or as a Season Pass pack priced at US$24.99. Big Boss
Wasted how? Lack of content or the fact that it was MS-exclusive? Lack of content at launch. Almost all of us played beta on PC which was fun but never looked like a full priced game. Hardcore xbots still and always say that it was best mp of this generation blah blah, but PC guys can see through all that BS. Hopefully Titan fall 2 will be worth spending some money. CarbonCore
The only fundamental flaw was lack of guns Even if they put bazillion guns its not going to replace a proper single player campaign, if they make another one without SP and sell it for $60 its going to fail again. Hopefully people who made Modern Warfare will realize this. A bombastic single player in TF universe would've been amazeballs, this is what people mean when they say 'missed opportunity'. Going by the trend this gen most devs are just focussing on either sp or just mp,when this happens everyone complains about the lack of content. This is something we should get used to. Also it was a new studio with a very small team for a AAA game. ,so full credit to them for giving such a good enjoyable game.

I guessed he meant exactly that, lack of content. Steering clear of the finger-pointing going on here, I'll just say this... the MP was (read is) marvellous -- still, I stopped playing it, when I did, because of lack of content. TRMNTR
Heh. Titanfall is a great game alright. It's just that finding a game nowadays is next to impossible. And yeah, it needed an SP campaign if it expected to sell at the launch price or even be profitable. Hopefully with the season pass going free on XBL, I might be able to get in a few games before it becomes a ghost town again. What platform are you talking about? A couple of days back, I was searching on the deserted Asia servers with some 20 odd players in Attrition (I think) and still managed to get a match in under 5 seconds. TRMNTR
PC. But should that be any different? Maybe he was talking about ranked servers -- I haven't searched those.
triggr happy ss
To bad evolve dev don't realize it I think you forgot the order and even infamous SS which are only sp games with less content. Mp only games are any day a better buy than sp only games. I clearly remember most of the ps fanboys being happy that the devs were concentrating on just one thing. If it was made by small team then it should reflect in the final cost, no shame in selling it cheaper than see the price freefall at retail. Warhawk was sold for $40 and the $60 retail version came free with $50 Jabra headset, and yet it was panned in reviews for being too expensive for MP only game. And that game actually had shitton of content with proper dedicated servers and 32p matches and what not.
triggr happy ss
Even Destiny is An MP only game & it's worth the $60 price Being MP only doesn't mean it can't be worth $60 Anyway too much defensive sh*t going on Catch ya later You are joking right? Destiny is worth 60$ and tf is not? Just because you find it addictive doesnt make it a 60$ game. I have played enough destiny to know that its just about doing the same raid, same nighfall and even same bounties week after week. Content wise i would say both of them are more or less the same. Also for a dev who is developing a new Ip would want it to be the next big thing, the 40$ price would just kill it there itself.

Have you even played the game? Experimenting with 4 freaking different powers, huge map and tons of side quests and still you feel it lacks content? And SP games are well preferred and much memorable than a MP games which needs grinding for eternity and to be forgotten very easily as soon as another MP game enters.
