Currently runs at 792p on the Xbone. will go to 900p close to release.

Source please.

What is 792p? Seriously XBO can't run source engine at 1080p?

If the source of Snake is reliable, will this question be even worth asking?

Eurogamer updated their article.

Update 18:13 GMT: Respawn has confirmed our '792p' pixel count, and has indicated that a resolution increase is on the cards for the final game.

Plus,

Probably the biggest surprise is that, based on our testing, frame-rate doesn't quite remain locked to 60fps - not especially noticeable in most situations, but definitely more of an issue inside the titans.

xbox 1 is turning out to be a joke,i mean seriously this game looks like a current gen title, hardy intensive graphically,if it can't even run this at 1080p,i am starting to doubt what Microsoft was even thinking while designing this console. :giggle:

^ That's it.

Wow. Just wow.

There's nothing to be surprised about here as this was rumored right before even the official announcement at E3 with that magazine cover leak. It's the hardware & I'd actually even prefer a stable 720p60 ( locked ) over a 792p variable. It's quite clear that the resolutiongate bit them and their marketing team. This short bump is nothing but worthless e-peen, moreso if they're sacrificing frames in intense CQC for that. Perhaps even they're trying player feedback in the beta and switch back to 720 if they make much noise about it. Whether the 8% release of that reserved bandwidth with the driver update went live or not is still unknown though. Would be bad if they tone down some FX to push 900.

Abbie further added that Titanfall final build resolution will be higher, however no exact figure was revealed, but it is expected to be around 900p.

Someone on Gaf said that 900p is standard resolution for all Xbox one games.. ..If they can't manage 1080p with high res..textures and AA then they should stick with 900p imo.. .900p with HD textures and AA is better than 1080p with no AA and low-res textures ...:|

Look what happened with Forza 5....They had to reduce textures and AA to achieve 1080p...I don't want this to happen with other XO games....:|

Same is happening with Order 1886....RAD is reducing the resolution to sub-1080p to achieve desired image quality with AA @ 30fps...

It's just a beta...Wait till final game is out.....
