I'm pretty sure they did this because of the SFV burn , PC gaming is enjoying it's perks from all publishers and getting the console exclusives from the best of both worlds, holyshit Good thing that but I wanted them to release KI on the X360 more than the PC because the FGC numbers on the X360 is f**king monstrous compared to the miniscule audience on the growing PC market. It would have been insanely popular as all fighting game majors are held on X360, more thanks to the the bad rep SONY has gained with USFIV's terribad PS4 port. The community's very passionate and would've have picked this up in an instant. More numbers at tourney registers, though would have been nowhere near the giants like SF & Mahvel, it would have been certain growth. Also, this is mostly Win10 exclusive and Windows Store purchase, not on Steam. There's definitely gonna be salt from the Xbox-only folk though, even more now because this most probably won't require a XBL gold sub to play online on PC Same case is with SFV.. Do I seriously need to wait 4-5 hours before playing the game? Luckily got an unlimited connection Xbone noob here; help appreciated. Is every current gen game like this? I am baffled I am wondering why is the update so huge EDIT: I installed Gears ultimate via digital download and the bugger didnt allow me to play until I had downloaded 97% ; I was only able to see the intro video before that; not to mention it was a full game download of 45 GB; why is this update of Killer instinct 27 GB that is what I am wondering. You can also start playing most games while it's downloading/installing from disc...I was able to play Sunset Overdrive when download was around 30%, same with Tomb Raider Definitive edition, Van Helsing, WD Season 1, Forza 6, Valiant heart, Syndicate and all.. Some games don't allow you to play till download is around 80-90% or almost complete like Destiny, Gears Ultimate and Halo, but that doesn't mean feature is not there on Xbox or you can't play while it's downloading updates in background. Big Boss Posted December 16, 2015 Report Share Posted December 16, 2015 PS4 exclusive patch sizes are decent. Max is 9 GB for Bloodborne that too after so many days, not day 1 like DR3 or Halo MCC. You can play games when patch is installing. See Halo 5 topic for more nightmare with Xbone patching. Also, never preload on Xbone. You end up downloading completely fake data and need to delete it.
