Game is super polished no bugs/glitches whatsoever this game might be the first nextgen online game that may work from day1. f**k siege i am sold will be buying this instead of siege. PS4 version is 900p and 30FPS? took one more shot PC ultra Yeah. Passing on RSS here as well. It was iffy earlier but this seals the deal. It actually makes the RSS beta look worse in retrospect. Because this could easily have had the same problems. But where in RSS matchmaking is a complete pain in the a*s, here is fast and smooth. In RSS lag and disconnects happen every other game or so and here the dedicated servers work as they are supposed to. This looks miles ahead of that game visually AND it runs so much better. And Origin is already in a different league compared to Uplay. Also really liking the TTK so far. It feels like it takes longer to kill/die than it does in BF4 (which is one of my biggest issues with that game). Here you can actually react and return fire if you get engaged. ALPHA17 Posted October 8, 2015 Report Share Posted October 8, 2015 Game is good but I didn't like it as much as Battlefield. Soldiers feel too papery to me. It's gonna be about unlocking the most broken gun in the game. Lack of server browser didn't make a difference but the game wasn't keeping party members in the same team. You will be happy to know, there are not a whole lot of weapons in the game. So, basically, clan play is going to be screwed in the game. Well, no surprises there. Gamepad controls are broken. Flight controls are buggy like sometimes it keeps doing barrel rolls. Couldn't fly even with a gamepad. Almost impossible to win as rebels in Assault, needs balancing. Are you serious about flight controls, they were laughably obtuse in BattleField 4, I thought keeping a simpler flight model they might be able to get it better but apparently that was asking for too much. Started downloading the BETA, should grab it on Saturday, Sunday. The files mention the Emperor, Han Solo, Pricess Leia and Boba Fett. Mined sound files attached to these characters can be listend to on SoundCloud. Thanks AGB and Reddit users TheeUberMedic and radgamerdan. The sound recordings are curious. The Emperor's specifically reference killing Princess Leia, Han Solo and encountering Luke Skywalker. Whereas Leia references killing the Emperor and encountering Darth Vader. Han Solo, on the other hand, references killing Boba Fett and encountering Darth Vader. Could this be some kind of multi-hero battle? This thinking is fuelled further by the words "herobattle" and "herohunt" in file names. In the currently open Battlefront beta (on all three platforms - PC, PS4, Xbox One), only Heroes Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader are available. We do know, however, that the Millennium Falcom - and presumably Han and Chewie piloting it - will be a Hero power-up during the 20-player Fighter Squadron mode, which isn't available in the beta. Incidentally, the actors voicing the roles aren't the original Star Wars cast, although they do fairly close impressions. harjas Posted October 8, 2015 Report Share Posted October 8, 2015 Ya i might buy it but later on, Jumped the gun with bf4 but wont do the same with this one If they remove the barrel rolls while flying that the jet does (bug) then flying is actually nice But it does need more guns and stuff though and although you could find match really fast and all when me and miz tried together as a party and tried finding match ,we got one after a bit waiting So yeah needs a bit of more work Other than that all good Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
PhantomShade Posted October 8, 2015 Report Share Posted October 8, 2015 Just played the beta Flawless performance,never drops below 60 FPS(Vsync on) 1080p at Ultra preset and this is with a huge fire fight going on the Hoth map,im using latest Nvidia SWBF drivers. i encountered some lag on the Hoth map,but none on the Sullust map,Also i'm able to join matches in seconds. The gameplay is also good,not terrible like i thought it would be,the guns having cooldown actually works quite well in-game if the final product is this good i will buy it for sure Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
