ALPHA17 Posted October 10, 2015 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 Played the BETA for an hour or two, opinions, Game sounds good (really good) Looks good too Runs smooth *caveat emptor holds* Now after that, Not so much of a BETA as it is just three maps with three wildly different game-modes, so you cannot say how your experience will go across the whole package *everyone has a different opinion here* No server browser sucks, I played five, six matches and trying to interpolate the location vis-á-vis the in-game iD's of other players, whenever I connected to EU or West side the performance was favourable and as soon as I came to South East Asia pool, lag, rubber-banding, shots not connecting *not as bad as BattleField 4 on launch but yes piss* Again connected to networking, the method I used above was very crude I agree but saying that I have faced no lag or such problems is not going to help because EA and DICE have decided to withhold any information regarding that sphere. All I can say is good luck and hope for the best because for all you know they can just fold geographical regions into monoliths if a region does not have sufficient player count There exists no way to balance teams, so if you are initially pummelled by the competition, half your team abandons the match and you might as well type GG in the chat system *plagued all my matches of Capture the Pod* The loadout system is completely bananas, no side-arm because, no side-arm. So mid firefight with multiple targets you can pretty much guarantee to be turned into mulch. Especially for new entrants in the game because they cannot get any secondary / support equipment till they sink some time in and grind some credits Partner system is also broken, sometimes I am paired up and other times on my own No internal VoIP system for coordinated play because reasons... The game looks good, sounds good, runs good and that is about it, after three matches on Hoth, I knew the drill and pretty much did what I did in the previous matches, sit at range with the cycler and drop people who rush to the Uplink Nodes Overall, this is how fan service should be done although if you are serious about your multi-player fix, look elsewhere. BC 10gb barbaad kardiya download karkey...Itna hype macha rakha tha ki download karna pada lol.. After spending so much hours in fast and fluid games like TF and Destiny, it's impossible to enjoy game like Battlefront. Gameplay feels restrictive and dated and not fun.. :| One more thing - Enemy A.I is completely retarded in co-op mode ...They just stand and stare at you sometimes or get stuck in geometry Please no personal attacks...Iam giving my personal opinion on the game...If you like it then it's fine but in my opinion game is total sh*t and not worth buying for full 60$. IMO it should and looks like a free to play game. I used to play Dust 514 online and that was a better game. It's just the Star Wars hype around this one. PhantomShade Posted October 10, 2015 Report Share Posted October 10, 2015 One thing i hate about this game is getting AT-ST,AT-AT or TIE fighters,X wing,A wing etc is totally dependant on random power ups also good stuff like the thermal imploder and that rocket launcher is dependant on power ups T_T same power up sht for getting to play as a Hero/Villain unit fk it,i just realized ALL the good sht in this game depends on a Random powerup bc they just give you some generic pew-pew blasters and all the good sht is in "card" form Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
