I am. And I can't stop, apparently. It's GOTY 2015 for me.

The amount of love that Dice has poured into this game is apparent every step of the way, and the way developers tweak the game according to requests is to be applauded. It's one of the few companies that actually cares about its customers and buying the game + season pass was the best money I ever spent on gaming.

But there are companies that care even more about its customers and provide huge dlcs for free. But yeah, dice has always listened to their community and have to be rightfully appreciated for.But the statement that you made about this game being the game of the year for you, regardless of the fact that its your opinion, seems quite hilarious to me.Even I play this game to date and I love it too,but I don't think that it packs in the content that a GOTY should

TLOU left behind was free with the remastered version and we see some free mp map packs and modes that are being offered for free with some games these days.Even if they don't seem to be HUGE,they still are, considering their price to value ratio,as they are provided to you for free

Comparing single player game DLC to game which relies completely on multiplayer.

Left Behind was not even normal sized DLC. It was merely a 2 hour campaign.

In that case, even Battlefront received FREE DLCs. They also gave the game for FREE to try for 4 hours.

March:

  • “Survivors of Endor,” a new multiplayer map, follows the aftermath of the destruction of the second Death Star and supports Walker Assault, Supremacy, and Turning Point.
  • New Tatooine Survival Mission with a fresh look at Tatooine that you can enjoy on your own via singleplayer or couch co-op / online co-op with a friend.

February:

  • “Ice Caves,” the new Hoth Survival Mission allows you to explore a new area of the ice planet with singleplayer or with a friend via couch co-op or online co-op.
  • A new multiplayer map, Twilight on Hoth, brings enveloping darkness with harsh wind and snow to the ice planet and supports our larger game modes including Walker Assault, Supremacy, Fighter Squadron, and Turning Point.
  • Turning Point, the popular 20v20 mode introduced in the Battle of Jakku, has been added to all large maps that currently support Walker Assault and Supremacy.
  • New Princess Leia Endor outfit available to all players which was unlocked by our players for completing our Lead the Rebellion community mission.

January:

  • Play on Raider Camp, a new map for Blast, Droid™ Run, Drop Zone, Hero Hunt, and Heroes vs Villains multiplayer modes.
  • Private Matches: Jump online and kick off your own matches with friends or your team on the map and mode of your choice.
  • New Hoth-themed outfits for Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, both of which will be available to all fans when they play as these two iconic characters on Hoth. These were unlocked by our players for completing our Heroes’ Holiday community mission.

You sure this discussion is happening just because of EA?

Left behind was not free. It was part 60$ Remastered Edition for Ps4

Your example falls flat.. remastered games always come with full content.. while for its original version the dlc was priced.. and so were mp pack and everything.. so yeah theres that..

Not FULL content cuz uncharted collection didn't come with the multiplayer, regardless of its reasons

Yeah,I guess, cuz I mentioned earlier that even I play this game to date and love it but the free content that was offered wasn't just enough, given that the base game had less content comparitively, with an epic franchise like star wars behind it

Its hard to tell that uncharted collection has more value than tlou just cuz it has 3 sp games in one disc cuz tlou isn't a bad game either and on top of that, its multiplayer is still being played by quite a few.

Given that battlefront is solely based on multiplayer, the number of vanilla maps just isn't enough. So I wish they could offer a few more free content
