DC, UC4 demo etc will appreciate the amount of stuff that goes into making a game and details that you would normally overlook while playing or watching gameplay footage. The shooting mechanics are really good too. There are some genuine design issue's and but at times it all flows together beautifully like the airship level. Visually it destroys driveclub. Its not just the brute force of the visuals but the artstyle and atmosphere it creates is spectacular. I hope im proven wrong but dont think even ND would beat it with uc4. They however have a very different approach than rad and go for a more stylised look than photo realism. I mean, this is realtime inengine screenshot of The Order: And then you have realtime inengine screenshot of UC4: Whichever post processing lens effect the order is using makes it look a step ahead of UC4, as of now. Though UC4 still has some time left in the oven, so far The Order is what you get if you want to impress someone visually. Th eonly instruction was to play on hard. I did not sak them about QTEs and corridoors or walking and they didn't mention it. Looks like the game has enough oomph to make you forget/overlook its flaws. Funny thing is all 4 mention that the shooting feels great. None of them "get" the pathetic reviews.
