KnackChap Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 finished the final few chapters and the game. took around 9+ hors on hard, missed a few collectibles so might have to do some trophy hunting for 100% completion.Game is not bad, not bad at all but boy have they missed an opportunity to make it something truly special. the 2 biggest draw of the game was the crazy weapons and the half breeds and surprisingly you dont get to use those weapons much and there are just 3 encounters with the halfbreeds, on top of that you never get to use the science weapons against the halfbreeds. i completely disagree with the people who think that the halfbreed boss fight use the same QTE's, its an absolutely retarded thing to say. it a game mechanic and not anything more. using the same logic people almost everything is beyond is using the same QTE or infinity blade (& the games like it) are a rehash of its first 10 seconds. A lot of the story is left unexplained, the game has a decent plot and is well told, beautifully acted but its cliched as hell. imagine any game from the last 10 years(expect chest thumping 'murica' military shooters) that has 2 factions fighting each other and questioning who right & who's wrong , its the same here. although by the time it ends it acts as a perfect origin story for galahad to turns into van helsing. a lots of loose ends. why are the rebels fighting against the empire, why are the majesty's knights taking down measly rebels, the whole king arthur's roundtable and holy grail stuff is not explained and then there are some late game stuff that i cant mention. also, that MGS3 ending moment. that final shot at the end of the credits though. Not in anyway saying that a shorter game should not be criticised for that but at the same time cashgrabs like evolve need to be told as they are too. There's enough content in Evolve to keep you happy for weeks plus Turtle Rock will release all M.P maps for free with new modes...They will only charge for new Hunters and Monsters...Creating a Monster requires lot of effort and time according to Turtle Rock, they can't release it for free like map packs.. If anything this constant mindless praise for evolve needs to be shunned. Core gameplay is solid in Evolve..It's unique and different compared to each and every M.P game out there...Evolve jaisa koi are M.P game bata sakta hai tu mujhey?? There's a reason Evolve is getting better scores than Order 1886...It's unique and different with super fun polished gameplay... Evolve is not definetly worth 60$ , but it has enough content for a MP game . I got it for rs 999 for PC version and its defintely worth the price .
