Why would you need the mem card slots?

Also, final question..do I get any sort of warranty on the replaced console? WHat if it breaks down after a couple of months..will I have to again shell out 50% to get another replacement?

I got my console replaced and they said that the remaining warranty of the original console will be counted for the replacement. But some people get full 1 year warranty.

I guess it depends if you pay for the replacement. If you're getting a new console as per the 50% rule you should get full 1 year warranty since your paying for a new console. Or if the console is under warranty and you're not required to pay for a replacement, you'll get the remaining warranty of the original console.

Does the Jabra bt2045 headset works on PSN? Anyone used it? It's available for Rs 729 for today on Infibeam:

http://www.infibeam.com/deal-of-the-day.html

If not, please suggest some alternative bluetooth headsets under Rs 1000.

it works... there is a wiki page about all the BT headsets compatible with ps3

Can someone please tell about the Sony India PS3 warranty and return policy? Is the policy applicable only for PS3 brought in India? Is the return/replacement policy only valid during the 1 year warranty period. What happens when ones original 1 year policy gets over.?

Do the consoles brought from USA, covered in the return policy? Please guide and explain me the Sony India policy regarding the matter.

If the PS3 is less than 3 years old you get a 50% discount on a new PS3 and if it is more than 3 years old you get a 30% discount on a new PS3.

Consoles bought from USA wont be covered under any policy here. Sony India would not even look at it.

Only Region B consoles are covered. And any console of Region B bought from outside India will be considered out of warranty.
