I got my console replaced and they said that the remaining warranty of the original console will be counted for the replacement. But some people get full 1 year warranty. I guess it depends if you pay for the replacement. If you're getting a new console as per the 50% rule you should get full 1 year warranty since your paying for a new console. Or if the console is under warranty and you're not required to pay for a replacement, you'll get the remaining warranty of the original console. Please create an account from a PlayStation® system." which i cant do at the moment since in office & net @ home giving teething issues. can i make multiple accounts (US, UK, India) from the same e-mail ID? & whts the adv of creating accounts in other countries? If the PS3 is less than 3 years old you get a 50% discount on a new PS3 and if it is more than 3 years old you get a 30% discount on a new PS3.
