I have a MTNL broadband connection at home and I use it onmy computer. Yesterday I decided to play multiplayer for the first time andmade all the connections. I selected the Testing Internet Connection option.There were two items – Testing IP and Testing Internet connection. I got successfulin the Testing IP thing but it showed failed status in Testing internetconnection. Can someone please help me with this? The modem/wires etc are all fine as I am using it on my laptop. Just want to there are there any other settings I need to makeelsewhere? Note that I had shifted the MTNL connection to a different telephoneport for PS3 as it is in my living room whereas for laptop I put the modem inmy bedroom. piper Posted February 27, 2013 Report Share Posted February 27, 2013 I placed my PS3 (Slim, not super slim) in my TV cabinet, in a rather poorly ventilated section. It became very hot after just half an hour of playing, and the fan was very loud as well. I have an option of placing it vertically there itself, or maybe even in the open (not enclosed).
