Not able to rectify a problem is one thing but here I do not even know what the issue is. I'm at Mira Road....

(A)Kira
My controller has started to act weird. If i apply even the slightest pressure on the place where i hold it, for some reason the d-pads will get pressed. Is there any reset or anything i can do, or is getting a new one the only option? Rohan Seth
My ps3 has gotten really slow recently and it even hangs quite often. My warranty was up a few months ago but at that time I did not face any such problem. Do I need to delete some games? Sent from my Awesomesauce GT-I9100. Aloy
I don't know if this is the right place to ask this but here it goes-- I am thinking of getting a PS move setup. That includes the PS eye,a navigation controller and the move controller,So should i get it?Is it worth the price of 5 to 6 thousands(if want two move controllers).Or should i wait for PS4 as it would bring some kind of newer motion gaming technology or an improved PS move? Please guys, provide some precious advice.I will surely get PS4,not a launch but in 2014 for sure. Thanks in advance brothers

Aloy
You are right.I am a hardcore gamer..so move games would be fun but i will eventually get bored of them.I should get another dualshock 3 and play co-op with my friends..that would be more fun.PS4 is definitely going to have some motion gaming add-on.So i should just wait for PS4
devil_angel
Guys, I'm having an issue with PS3 video output now. My video setup is HDMI to DVI conversion (monitor). This has been the case for the past 3 years. But now, all of a sudden, I often, in fact very often get a screen full of grains. If I switch the monitor off and then on, the video picks up. Or if I try and do a re-detect on the monitor, it picks up, but it conks out again randomly. This is getting more and more frequent by the day. Also, the issue isn't with the monitor or the DVI slot, coz I use the same slot with the PC. And I've double checked if it's because of faulty cable and adapter, by using the combo with my PC. I'm afraid that this might be a PS3 issue. Is there any way I can sort things out from the settings menu for this or is it a sign of a dying console? Anyone? devil_angel
So, I've tried a few things. I've disconnected the PS3 from my monitor and connected it directly to a TV using the HDMI cable (Same one). -----> Issue persists I've connected the PS3 to the TV using a different HDMI cable. -----> Issue persists I've used the Old HDMI cable with my PC ----> No issues So, basically I'm getting intermittent HDMI output from my PS3. It blacks out for a few seconds, and I have to reset my monitor to revive the signal and in case of the TV, it automatically tries and detects the signal for a few seconds. So, I guess I have to look forward to replacing my PS3 now.....ya?

Try keeping the output of PS3 fixed at 720p (uncheck the other boxes) in Display -> Output and then try.

Pacifier
Hi.. This is regarding PS3 Proxy. So i downloaded Hitman Absolution 17GB to my laptop and am trying to get it into my Playstation. I connected it via Wired connection, applied static IP to both PC and PS3 and verified that connection test is passed even when routing through ps3 proxy. But the download speed is dead slow. I verified that re-direction has occurred in ps3 proxy log showing that it is picking the file from my C:\ drive but still looks like it is getting nearly the same speed , if not less than what my direct download from wifi does.(100Kbps). - As it is a direct transfer from PC to PS3 via wire, i am expecting atleast 2Mbps or max the limit of the wire used. Can anyone tell what i am doing wrong or what is the best method for wired transfer via ps3proxy? Also how much speed do u normally get if you tried this method.
