TRMNTR
^ Don't know if this would help but... 8013013D - "A connection error has occurred" - May be to do with the SSID of the Router or signal strength if the connection drops Putting the PS3 into DMZ may help - otherwise check WPA key Ps3 can't handle WPA2 only WPA or none __________________________________
tesla
FOR all sify broadband users unable to connect there ps3 to online. here is how i did it. entered my ip address, dns server, gateway address similiar to the one given to my pc. then i loged in my pc with sify broadband client .when it logged in..i unplugged the RJ45 jack from pc and inserted into my ps3. carried out a internet test.and it was successful . then i made a account in psn. hope it helps. It does not work as it should...i get disconnected automtaically after 20-30 mins on trying this method. :cry5: I do not know if you have already tried this before but the internet connection sharing method works flawlessly. You need an addition lan card on the computer and a crossover cable to connect your ps3 to this lan card. Then enable internet connection sharing in advanced network options. Now internet will work both on the pc as well as the PS3.

Somebody
http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstatio...=152865#M152865 Check this out praveen. If you are using WPA/WPA2 Personal as your security setting on your wireless router, you must enable BOTH - WPA2 Personal & WPA Personal. I am using the Linksys WRT54GX4 and I am now able to connected with no error message. This should correct the issues associated with error message 8013013D. that's what's given in the forum.... what's that supposed to mean ?? and btw, my restarts when i try to connect my ps3 sometimes. Grimmjow
Im using my monitor through HDMI to DVI, but the monitor doesnt have speakers so i used a converter to use the AV Multi Out with the red+white colour wires connected The problem is that the volume is too loud, and i can only set the volume in games but even then during videos its too loud.Is there any option in the PS3 itself to lower the overall volume? Even the XMB clicking sounds are too loud
KnackChap
dunno if this is posted bu if you press and hold the ps button on the controller for 8-10 sec, the controller switches off automatically.
CarbonCore
Nice tip, though you can do the same by pressing PS button for 2 sec and then down+X.

MarketTantrik
cool.btw i have some divx movies in my computer, can i play them in my ps3?or should i have convert them too? The PS3 can play DivX movies without conversion as long as they are of the *.avi extension. But I have noticed that the PS3 does not support some *.mp4 files and *.avi files encoded with some particular mix of settings. They show up as Corrupted Data in the video file list but the same files play perfectly on the X360.
