PhantomShade
Is it a legit copy? If no, then do not because the notebook brand can deny support on basis of the pirated OS. Just uninstall everything that you term as junk. Legit copies can be downloaded from MS Here If his iso is not compatible,it will ask for a cd key, else it should install without a hitch. afaik on Win 8/10 the bloatware aren't uninstallable, almost like mobile phones. ALPHA17
^ I am aware you can get the ISO from Microsoft directly. Also, I am clarifying it for my own knowledge. Most stuff can be turned off if not uninstalled.

ALPHA17
Yes legit got from MS Then you better ask ASUS, because if they agree then you are fine otherwise in-case of any issues down the line you are on your own. And generally speaking companies can be pretty petty about such points.
Sanj
I own a zotac gtx 760 amp edition. But sometimes it gives pause for 1-2 secs and then goes to normal.Seen this problem with ryse, watch dogs, gta v.I installed gpuz then noticed gpu load drops to low suddenly at that moment this problem occurs. My psu is seasonic s12 520w. Is this related to gpu or drivers or any other problem Please guide.
ALPHA17
^ Sounds like a driver issue, check the temperatures on that GPU as well. Can be that it is throttling due to thermal limiting.

Ethan_Hunt
Guys can I get a escalation contact at Zotac? An E-mail address of their regional manager, if possible.
ALPHA17
What is the issue?
Ethan_Hunt
What is the issue? I have submitted my 970 for RMA and it's been 2 weeks since it's been at the service center. There is virtually no update on the status. When I call the place at Lamington where I submitted it, the person keeps saying it takes 15-20 days and they won't know anything until they get it back from there. I want to ensure this doesn't turn out to be a prolonged delay and have a contact ready to blast, just in case.

kmkaks
Should I trade my Asus gtx 970 for a Sapphire r9 290x 8gb? Considering the new PS 4.5 will have access to more memory the 3.5GB might end up inadequate??

Suggestions would be appreciated. I think you can safely jump on the Skylake bandbagon, as far as I can see those memory issues have been resolved One guy on IVG is using---'MSI Z170A SLI Plus' coupled with Corsair RAM. While I am using 'Gigabyte H170 Gaming 3' with Gskill Ripjaw DDR4 2400MHz RAM (its been nearly a month n no issues, I dont even think my motherboard is updated to lastest ) So I would recommend, i5 6500---around Rs. 15500 Brought WD blue 1TB for Rs. 3500. Maybe you wanna go for 2TB? Or 1TB + SSD (for future) I have Antec HCG 520 (its gamer edition) for Rs. 5k+. I dont any issues at the moment, and shopkeeper vouched for for it so...up to you. But please, only go for Gamer edition, yours look flimsy. Seasonic has service centre distance issues, so please check it out before buying. Zotac..no. Try to go for MSI Gaming edition or Gigabyte Windforce. I have Asus strix 960, card is cool but not the bundled software of asus (for gpu monitoring) This post is for 'Gaming PCs' thread and get more suggestions maybe?
