Joy Posted June 13, 2009 Report Share Posted June 13, 2009 Also if you like reading mags , try reading a Computer Tech Magazine called CHIP , its only 100 buck p.m. , its really good , you learn a lot and it also gives current prices of various PC components as well as somewhat guides in making a PC for low , mid and high end pc's , as well reviews of latest gizmos and nice articles on tech and gaming. I used to read CHIP from 05 to 07 regularly , it helped me lot to learn about PC , as earlier I didn't knew a thing about hardware, it taught me how to assemble a pc myself , my current PC I assembled myself after buying PC components from Nehru Place , all thanks to CHIP. Asus p5Q pro = 9650 @ ITW sound.... if u were referring to sound card ... its included in mobo if u are referring to speakers... get an Altec Lansing ATP3 if u can.... using them for 3yrs now.. just cant change or the current Hifi one is Creative I-trigue 3000 gr8 styling i must say cabinet= -NZXT tempest @6k --- excellent cooling and has every thing a gamer needs + bang for buck -Thermaltake Xaser VI series @ 13k average ... there are hell lot of models in this series ,,, visit their website.--- extreme cabinet with removable mobo tray and all loads of features... - CM HAF 932 @9.4k -CM cosmos S@15k and ya... 4890 manli brand is 13k rite now @ techenclave.com check it out for a 22 inch one.... my fav 2233sw samsung @10k approx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Just get something with enough room and an extra fan on the side to keep things cool. Mine cost 1k and its more than enough. Get a Gigabyte C2Q compatible mobo I think both the ones I mentioned above should do nicely. If you want 2 PCI E slots then you will need to spend a lot more. Its not worth it IMO. Also most mobos have a good sound solution onboard so unless you have a really nice set of speakers that can do it justice an external sound card is a bit of a waste.
