It depend on Broadband providers.Which provider are you using???

If you are using BSNL try this ::

Do not use default IP address 192.168.1.1

* Set up a static IP address.

* Go to the router page by typing the url 192.168.1.1.

* Enter username and password as admin.

* Click on "Virtual Server"under "Advanced" on the router page.

* Type the name of the application in the box. (Limewire or Bitcomet or any other name)

* Type the static IP address in the box below.

* Select protocol type as TCP.

* Now type the port number that you would like to forward.

* Port number 6882 is recomended for Bitcomet and for Limewire any other number below 61000.

* Click "Apply" and restart the router.

If your modem firmware is new, this might not work

OR you might try the following;

how to use USB controller on pc games like CODwaw

Either the game has to support the controller or you need to use a software that translates controller's inputs to kbd/mouse. e.g. I think logitech gives a sw along with their controller that allows to do this. there could be others as well..

I guess you meant it depends on the modem/router and not the service provider...Most modems/routers use similar terminology anyways. Either they simply list it under "Forwarded ports" or similar or under "virtual servers"

Ethernet cable----------------->Ethernet Port...thats it!!!

so you have a cable connection.. do you have a firewall running? Otherwise you are out of luck and we can't say anything other than "Your provider sucks :naughty: " :)

Thanks for correcting me.It depends on the Modem configuration.Alternatively for port fowarding we can Activate the DMZ host which makes all ports open thus increasing the vulnerable attacks against your PC.

Snake, i dont have any idea about your connection.You could try this:

^^If it has VGA input, yeah.

Edit A question of my own. Is it possible to install Vista from an ISO image, off the HDD instead of burning it on to a DVD?
