akashkhannabond007 Posted August 31, 2009 Report Share Posted August 31, 2009 Guys i am literally in tears due to a freaking problem with my PC for the past 6 months ..... the problem is that that the PC hangs/crashes/freezes if : 1.) i want to copy something above 700mb ( sometimes if hanges when it is less than that also) to HDD 2.) when i buffer some videos or watch movies on PC 3.) when i try to burn a disk. Guys please please help me ... i even took my PC to my PC person and he formatted the "C" drive and said that it was working fine .. when i came home i copied a file of 8gb ... and then burnt tried to burn a CD and it stuck again ... after then i have formatted it again (only "C" drive) but nothing is working. A Hard Drive can contain a no. of sectors.It may be possible for a sector to go bad due to frequent hang ups,age etc Run the tool atleast once on every partition to check if there is a bad sector Select <My Computer>. Under HARD DISK DRIVES highlight the disk which you want to scan. Right Click Properties Open the Tools tab.
