How to switch between 360 and Pc but i am using dvi to hdmi cable. Also do I need to buy any cable for getting audio? :helpsmilie:

This is really a tough one......

Most cases it depends on the monitor. I have an AOC 24' HD Monitor that has an HDMI cable so switching becomes easy as there is a touch button that shifts from HDMI Mode to DVI Mode.

I think check ur Monitor, it must contain that mode unless its a Fat desktop monitor one....rather than HD Monitor.

On Audio:

This is really bad luck if u have a latest 360 that contains side-by-side HDMI & A/V port. Ur monitor should support sound....at present thats the only way...If ur monitor dosn't comes with in-build speakers then its difficult to get sound on X360 but on ps3 its easy as there r 2 different ports kept at a well distance.

Need quick answer. Do help ASAP.

When buying a Dell Laptop (namely a 15 inch Dell Studio 15) would it be better to go for a 3 year complete cover or would that be unnecessary? How good is dell service and does getting a complete cover offer (in reality) any significant benefit over getting just a limited warranty?

A little late I guess.

If you're paying good amount of money for laptop and move quite often with laptop, then I'd suggest complete cover. If anything happens, Dell will do the needful - no questions asked. 3years is a long time. Btw, what is the price difference these days between limited warranty and complete cover? I believe you can buy complete cover later on when required. So better to compare the prices first.

HDD, mobo, slot load drive etc are covered in limited warranty also. But accidental cases/user caused damages are not covered in limited warranty. This is where you need complete cover.

Back in April, laptop fell from my hands and screen, mobo, cover etc were replaced :good:

hi guyz,

i'm looking to upgrade my pc in few weeks so this is the config i've thought of

CPU:Intel core i5 750 2.66 Ghz

MOBO: Gigabyte P55 UD3

Ram: Corsair 4gb DDr3

PSU: CM GX550 or VX550

HDD: Seagate 500 gb

GPU: Geforce GTX 460

Chassis: CM 690 (normal or nvidia edition)

Monitor: Dell 24" or 23"

My budget is arnd 50k...and i can extend it a bit more...

So guyz what do you think...Do i need to change anything in the above..or is that config gud enough for playing Crysis and other titles on high settings..

Thanks..

Thanks. yeah she decided yesterday to go with the completecover. It's just a difference of 2k between complete cover and limited warranty of 3 years.

Awesome! 2k hardly matters when looking at 3 years free of tension if anything go bad with laptop.

Looks pretty neat to me. One caveat though, when buying the 460 go for the 1GB edition because it has higher bandwidth compared to the 896MB version. Do a check once before deciding which one to buy.

Ya going for one gb edition itself....cause if i want to go above 4xAA 768 mb is not sufficient...

besides i'll see if i find any alternative to the given specs in my budget and might change them...

Are you sure you'll get that within 50k? Not with the monitor.

Rs.48250 to be precise.With monitor Rs.61325

@Agent 47:U will have to increase your budget by 11k.Dont go for i5 instead go for amd phenom 965

@bulovski ya i know not with monitor dats wat i said i'm ready to put a bit more...

amd has heating issues don't they...is it better than an i5...?

The entire costing i checked is coming upto 61k approx which is ok...

i changed a few stuffs in that

Mobo: from gigabyte to MSI gd65 (its for i5 but for amd i've to change again)...

Chassis: NZXT tempest evo (coz it has dust filters)

plus adding a coolant for CPU...(Coolermaster hyper N620)

and for GPU is Palit geforce gtx 460 sonic one is gud...or any other company's like POV or Zotac...
