^^ Its not worth getting cheap controllers on PC , as most won't be incompatible with new games and force feedback won't be good.

Best would be to get a used Xbox 360 wired controller from someone, should be around 800-1k.

You can try some Logitech controllers maybe those are cheaper than the 360 controller.

Its 1300 mate new via Prashant - http://intencity.in/itemselect.do?titemCode=358 , might be even cheaper locally w/o shipping charges.

Search for it on the net before getting ds2 and adapter combo , I don't know how well it works on PC , I have tried the Dual Shock 3 controller on PC with additional drivers and USB cable , works fine w/o force feedback and six axis functionality.

Im planning to mod/add some lights in my case, I'd like to know..

  1. What are the parts needed
  2. Are modded case side panels available (My case is a Cm690, I don't want to cut into the one which came with the case.. I love it too much to do that :( )
  3. How much dothey cost and from where if they are
  4. Anything else I should know before venturing over to the dark(light) side?

Edit: I know there's a side panel with a glass cut out available for the CM690 but I want one with a square cut on top of the mobo/

I'm thinking about handing in my ASUS laptop (an N50-VN C1S) for service. Problem with the screen. Should still be under the 2 year global warranty.

Anyway, the issue here is that I want to back up the entire HDD (as in a clone image) for insurance, in case they decide to do a full-format plus OS reinstall (that too using their bloated ASUS crap filled backup section).

If they do do such a thing to piss me off and make my life difficult, I want to be able to restore the image to my hard disk on the laptop again. As it was before, with the same partition and folder structure and everything. What I have at hand is the aforementioned ASUS notebook with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit on it, and an external hard disk I won for free from Seagate with 1 TB free. (931MB actual or whatever).

What tool would be apt for this operation? DriveImage XML ? http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial160.html --> Would this work?

Any other suggestions? Please shoot.. and as soon as u can.
