Bird Bird Bird
Are there monitors with composite/component inputs available ? Need to connect my Wii to a monitor (don't have funds for a HDTV :| ) The only method I know is through a TV tuner card. Tried with an external one I had, Hauppuage, and it's stuck on a flickering black & white screen .. Played with all the options, resolutions, PAL/NTSC yada yada. Bottom line: Flickers & no color So need something cheap which can support both a PS3 & Wii. Any ideas ? Bird Bird Bird
I'm also looking at sub 15k LCD TVs (will have a WXGA - 1366*768 resolution) like this & this .. Since most of the PS3 games are at 720p, these should be enough right ? Plus with component I can hook up my Wii too. Please type out your ideas. Solitaire
operation overclock commenced on gpu. Â increased clocks 10%. do i need to increase voltage also? Â What card? Core and memory clocks? Â Â Â Â Â Â BTW PLEASE HELP me out here. Â I have no idea why this stupid Windows 7 partition keeps getting smaller and smaller. Free space went from 20gb all the way down to 5gb over the course of a year. Once it was GRID's video replays file. As of now I have no culprit that I can pin down. I keep running CCleaner and stuff but to no avail :'( Â It just keeps on going though I put all my programs in a different partition. Â This morning, I noticed something. There's a file in my C (root) partition that I just noticed named "3590F75ABA9E485486C100C1A9D4FF06PJHXUCBWBMDAKAEF" . It was around 5-6gb in size. I tried to delete it and it asked me for admin-level permission or whatever it is that UAC asks you for. I clicked cancel cos I thought "OK maybe this is some system file.. lemme think". Then Boom! the damn thing just disappeared right in front of my very eyes from C:/ and I couldn't find it for the love of God! Â So is this somehow related to the memory loss? Any other things I can try to solve this? Â I've already uninstalled stuff I don't need and removed Windows Tablet PC components. Also cleaned out all my old restore points. Ran CCleaner too. Somebody help me please.

It'a all over the net. Even after the A02 rev. the issues keep cropping up after 2-3 days of use. Plus can't spend 25k. Need something within 15k max. Bulovski
What card? Core and memory clocks? MSI GTX 465 - 607 core clock. Upped by 10%, and memory clock also. Didn't touch voltage. The card can be safely OC-ed to 850 , am obviously not going anywhere near. 10% increase did give me a few fps increase in metro 2033. Right now I only have metro which pushes my card. Nemo
Where i can get an IDE cable and how much does it go for ? Â what happened is that my aged laptop crapped big time, its now taking eons to start and when it does actually start, it crawls in every operation, 5min hang and what not. I want to get the data from the hdd. Tried plugging in a portable hdd but the laptop is not recognizing it in any usb slot. I learned that one could dissemble the device and take out the hdd and use IDE cable to get the data. workable ? Â I would normally ask the tech guy in my mom's office to do this but some parts of the data are of ahem.. sensitive nature so its better if i handle em myself. Â How difficult is the procedure ? Joy
Hmm.. do u have desktop at home. Doesn't ur lappy has a DVD writer ? Â Since its a laptop HDD , its 2.5" one , get a USB casing and take the data out on another PC , USB casing costs around 100-200 bucks. Â OR check this article , this explains to extract data from a laptop HDD to desktop via a IDE cable. Â http://www.liutilities.com/how-to/install-laptop-hard-drive-to-desktop-computer/ Â Either way ur still gonna need another PC or laptop to extract the data.
