^Try Camtasia, will suit ur needs well.

@muin, bang for the buck is a matter of perspective mate. Let's say u got a 16*10 res and a decent gfx with 1gig memory, all u need is AMD 1055T + AMD 880/890 board to run Crysis 2 at high settings (given that u OC to a minimum of 3.6 Ghz which is easy btw. This is bang for the buck for gaming.

If u want bang for the buck for Video Encoding, Audio Mixing/Editing, 3D Work (not heavy rendering) then u would need a i7-920 with compatible board and OC it to 4GHz.

I know im not suggesting SandyBridge cuz they dont fall in the bang for buck category Why? if u want to overclock u have to pay a premium which again which results in a processor which is only 10-15% faster than i7 OC'd to a minimum of 4Ghz - 4.2Ghz. The implications of that difference is negligible in real world tasks.

What do you expect as framerates? Don't expect Crysis to run at 60 FPS on Very High - it won't. Don't change the proccy now since the mobo will limit you. Wait a bit and change the proc+mobo to Sandy.

If you really want to get the most out of your card, you can OC the core clock to 750 with no change in core voltage or extra cooling. At 800 the card crashed for me.

+1 to what milol said.....upgrade to Sandy(when its free of faults). The GTX465 will last for the next 6-10 months..depending on the settings and the rez

I don't care about Crysis, and I don't even care about 60 fps. Even its 40-45 fps, I want it to be steady, not fluctuate.

Stuttering sounds more like throughput issue. Try freeing up some memory / remove crap applications. Defrag.

And here I am happy playing games with my 4gb DDR2 Ram + AMD 5770 X2 + 9600GT (stock) :P

Look kids unless any of you have ever written code for 8088 processors / booted from a 5.25" floppy please don't try to say you have ancient hardware.

It's just Sam who has issues. I think his PC is being sabotaged by his PS3 and X360.

Just like my PS3 is sabotaging my 360. Second replacement due this week alone :P

Those are the specs of my upgraded PC gramps :ranting:
