Big Boss
I want it to be steady, not fluctuate Does it fluctuate for all games? If not, name the games for which it fluctuates and the game settings. Also, monitor the temps with HWMonitor while gaming and note the max CPU and GPU temps. ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
Need some help from the experts I have a GTX 465 and 4GB RAM, which I think should be more than enough to run any game out now, but I still don't get the level of performance (framerates) I should. I have a quad core Intel Q6600 2.4 GHZ CPU. Could that be bottlenecking the performance? If it is, can you recommend a better CPU for my LGA 775 socket motherboard (Abit IP35-E). Thanks i can't think of anything else it must be bottleneck i had similar kind of problems before.had amd phenom1 x3 and nvidia 260 gtx .almost every game i played use to get low fps even with less hardware demanding games.problem got solved after changing cpu also what psu do you use,465 gtx is one power hungry card.if u don't get enough juice from psu it can happen.u need to change both cpu and mobo wait until march for sandy bridge and then upgrade btw 465 gtx can be easily unlocked to 470 gtx. you can get 20-30 percent performance boost Edited February 8, 2011 by ΨΨ babloos ΨΨ
Bulovski
Don't think all 465 GTX can be unlocked to 470. Only a particular series of the card.

Bulovski
I will pop in a word of caution here. Some of us have been trying this with the cards released to reviewers prior to launch which ARE retail samples. Of the 12 cards we have tested, 4 "unlocked", 3 recognized the BIOS but didn't "unlock" and 5 are now paper weights. Nothing was going to be published for several days until we found a way to successfully flash the dead cards back to their original state. The day the card really starts struggling I will try it. Bird Bird Bird
Desktop aint booting. It's an i-5 with stock Intel mobo combo (DH55). While browsing yday, it suddenly restarted & the onboard LED got stuck @ 21 whch is an error with MRC Entry point (Some memory problem).. Nothing substantial turned up on Google. Tried changing the memory slots, still the issue remains. (No other PC at hand to check the RAM modules). Removed & re-inserted the proxxy, no help. What next ? :|

Bird Bird Bird
^^ Hmm.. That's what I was wondering too. Either that or my mobo's majorly defective ! I guess that's also one of the reasons why many apps (esp. browsers) keep on crashing every 5 mins. Faulty memory management ? Should I tweak with RAM timings ?
