m-JeRi Posted August 6, 2008 Report Share Posted August 6, 2008 coz currently i have a cheap 400W..in that everything is ok..but some things.. 1.When i start the machine.the card fan is in full speed..makes big noise..then it settles down..near no noise 2.if a auto restart is given the system will shut down then make a tune..a sound..2 times...then it goes on like a hibernate. it will not start again.just the pc green light is on..the monitor light also blinking.i have to maulay turn off and then turn it on. i asked some people they say its smps....u guys think???? Reported by FUD I think, I don't know how trustworthy they are, but I'm thinking the new chips will be out soon, nVidia won't sit around and let ATI take the performance crown with the R700. GT200 55nm Might be kinda confusing though. What are they going to call it? GTX 265 and GTX 285? or GTX 260+ and GTX 280+? I didn't make this joke. Pushy Posted August 9, 2008 Report Share Posted August 9, 2008 (edited) ok guys, i think ma Power Supply Unit is giving up on me, i mean, i get BSOD and restarts when i keep downloading sumthing and otherwise teh PC is OK(like when i play music it stays normal, like without any restarts) so, yes cabinet is still in warranty so i do get a warranty on PSU but i already changed teh PSU two times (Zebronics) so i am kinda tired of going to Lamington Road every now and then......uhhhh ok enuf BS, teh point of this post is that please suggest me a good brand name and it's model number for Power Supply Unit (teh PSU) and also it's price(approx.), all teh help is welcomed and thanks. edit: just remembered, this PC vendor(from where i got ma PC) told me that VIP is a good one, cost rs.1700, so please tell me if that is good?
