kemosabe
Hi Experts, I have following PC config 1) Amd Phenom 9650 Quad core processor 2) 4Gb ram 3) M3N78 Em motherboard 4) 9500GT 512mb graphics card. I am planning to buy one of the following graphics card * GTX 550 Ti 1Gb * GTX 650 Ti 1Gb both seems to be in my budget Where GTX 650 Ti is pci express 3.0 so my question is will i be able to install GTX 650 Ti on my motherboard ? or it wont just fit on it.. ? Please advise Sapphire/MSI 7850 2gb is the best bet for you, considering you have a descent 500w+ PSU
ALPHA17
Sapphire/MSI 7850 2gb is the best bet for you, considering you have a descent 500w+ PSU Where does he mention he has a 500W SMPS? A Cooler Master GX450W would power a HD7850 2GB easily. But his processor will be a big bottle neck and anything over the HD7850 1GB will be over-powered in my opinion. Ph3N0M
So the APC UPS that come for Rs 5000 come in a maximum capacity of 660W. Then how the hell do people use PSUs with greater Watt rating in order to have a power hungry SLI/XFire solution?
ALPHA17
See the post above yours. Those have a native resolution of 1366 x768.
Ph3N0M
I mailed Corsair about their warranty policy on SSDs, and surprisingly got the following reply: Thank you for contacting Corsair Customer Service. We do not have a service center in India. You can request an RMA number on our website at http://www.corsair.com/support/technicalsupport . After you have completed the online form, you will receive an email confirmation with the RMA number and packaging instructions within 24 hours. If you have any questions please contact us via email at rmaservice@corsair.com or by phone at 1-888-222-4346. Thank you for choosing Corsair. Will I get warranty/support for that in India? Is this true? I thought they had a good Indian presence with their RAM, PSUs and cabinets. Ph3N0M
FK says all of them have a 1366*768 res. Sorry, my bad. I doubt you'll get a better resolution notebook below 40k though.

If they are intelligent they do the following -- No SLi / CrossFireX in the first place; get a better UPS if they get the setup along with a beefier SMPS. Not so intelligent -- gets a 1KVA UPS thinking that it can belt out 1000W of power (not factoring the power-factor conversion).
Ph3N0M
^But what is a better UPS than that, below 10k? I suspect none? Edited November 6, 2012 by Ph3N0M
ALPHA17
FK says all of them have a 1366*768 res. Sire, you cannot get better than that for that price-range. Think about upping the budget to ~45000/- and post it in TE for better answers I am not so much a laptop guy there either and there are more experienced members to guide you. Cheerio! ^But what is a better UPS than that, below 10k? Call up APC India, they have some 1.5KVA and 2KVA home inverters for those situations. Cheerio! The first option that intelligent people do is better. Also, see that post about Corsair RMA that is on the first post of this page. ALPHA17
Forget that. The first option that intelligent people do is better. Also, see that post about Corsair RMA that is on the first post of this page. They have outsourced it to Kaizen Infotech and Aditya Infotech. They are not directly in our market, thank god the distributors are up to scratch and are not screwing the good company's name.

I was just asking them about their international warranty policy, but they replied saying that they don't have service centre in India, which was not my question. I've again mailed them now with more emphasis on the international warranty part. Edited November 7, 2012 by Ph3N0M
