Ph3N0M
Should do fine and I suggest you go for the transparent casing, at-least in-case of any troubles you can take a peek. Not aware as I don't use a webcam with my PC, let other members pitch. Cheers! How about this one? Does having only one port somehow make it a lesser product in terms of performance than the other spike versions available on that site? BTW, how is this brand as compared to Belkin? Asking, 'cause they seem to be a desi company.
ALPHA17
Are the bays supposed to fix back in place? There are no wedges on it. I dont want to glue it back on with a tape as it looks bad. In more expensive case that is the norm. I think taping or glueing it back are the only options.

I just lost my Belkin surge-protector recently after three years of service, over time I noted that my PC was being tripped more often this was tied into the fact that once the protector was damaged itself but lack of access meant I could not ascertain this before it was too late. If a person uses only one of the ports on his surge protector, then how/why does performance change with the number of free/unused ports on the device? piper
http://www.ebay.in/itm/BELKIN-Essential-Series-Surge-Protector-BV101000zbCW-Lifetime-Warranty-/200896326398?pt=IN_Computer_Components&hash=item2ec65aaafe&_uhb=1#ht_3588wt_910 Wouldn't this be better? Price is fair enough. Thinking of picking up a couple for fridge/washing machine.

One port, you are going to use a multi-pin to power the monitor and associated peripherals of the PC if I am not wrong, or no. Thinking of picking up a couple for fridge/washing machine. As long as you are not wiring multiple components (with a multi-pin) to this single port I think it should be fine.

This will be connected to my extension box, and only PC will be connected to this(surge protector). All other peripherals(including monitor) will be connected to the UPS(which in turn will be connected to another free port on my extension box). Unzip the folder using an application like 7Zip. Preferred you unzip them in the vicinity of the .rar package to avoid confusion of location. One of the files should be an executable (.exe), run that as an Administrator and you should be done. An alternate method is to update the drivers via Device Manager, you can access this by right-clicking on My Computer --> Properties --> Device Manager --> Zeroing down on the appropriate trouble maker and updating the same from their. Shall post images for illustrative purpose. Cheers! Edited March 20, 2013 by ALPHA17

Which company laptop, configuration will come handy. From here i downloaded BUS Controller http://www.atheros.cz When i click the install file, nothing happens Did you try to run the file like the Administrator? I know it sounds snooty but sometimes we over-look such stuff. Also if all this does not help, call up Customer Card. Don't laptop companies give you a driver disc, driver page (official) to download your stuff from?

ALPHA17
Getting "You were disconnected from EA online (1)" error while trying to join ANY server on PC. Facing this since earlier today, was working fine till yesterday. Things changed since then : NONE. Router settings are same, no new software installed, etc. Tried the deleting hosts file, setting PC IP as DMZ, etc. What to do? Ummm... which ISP you on? Small piece on this, from my P.o.V. -- There is something genuinely wrong with your connection from the ISP's end or; Aapke jeevan mein shani ka prabhav pad rahaa hai. Iskaa koi upaay nahee ho sakta jab tak -- Aap agle teen hafto ke liye maas khana rok de. Punya ke kaam aur gareebo ki madad karne se aur jaldi Shani ko hatayaan ja sakta hai. Aap ashleel bato se door rahe. Aap apne grih mein Yagya kare aur apne ISP ke Maharaj (Technician) ko sampark karke shani se mukti paye. All in jest but if you wanted a more serious answer, I am clued out. Does EA have any information regarding this on their support forums? Check up with other Origin regulars and try to login again. Hope this helped (and Lulz). Cheers!
