Nemo
Guys youtube is not working. I have a mac book pro. Since the past 2 days youtube is giving massive problems, the site loads fine, search results come but when i click on any video it doesnt open, the url remains on constant 1/10 th bar filled (ie. when the url bar fills blue you load the page). If i try to refresh it or open video in a new tab, a black page loads up, totally blank with no error notice as such, with url bar showing the video url (ie, its not totally about:blank page). nothing happened when i try to refresh that. All other sites are working fine, dailymotion videos load normally.

Ph3N0M
I'm getting the same error sometimes. On Firefox, Windows 8. The troubled video opens after several reloads though(the number of reloads needed being random). And this is NOT the only problem YouTube has developed as of late. mshingore
I have this Transcend 16 gb flash drive which I want to format. But every time I try to, it gives me an error saying The disk is write protected. A friend of mine managed to do it somehow. The flash drive doesn't have a physical lock and I tried all the common suggested solutions online like using Regedit and Command prompt to no avail. Please help me out
ALPHA17
^^ Do you have any anti-virus on your system? Seems that sometimes there is a clash on this level causing issue. Links that might come handy. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/281411-32-transcend-drive-format-write-protected http://en.kioskea.net/faq/27265-transcend-pendrive-remove-write-protection Also try to get Transcend's Software suite for external drives / thumb-drives. Transcend Download centre.

Updated Nvidia drivers, edited a value on regedit, turning of adaptive brightness, etc. Now using Desktop Lighter to tint the screen. Any other solution? Lenovo Z560 Windows 8. And it was working fine before this guy used it on his office pc.. Most chances a virus from the office PC.
mshingore
Nope.. All other flash drives, external hard disks working fine. Scanned with AVG.. Clean. Tried a low level format. It fails. Tried deleting the partition through disk management. No success
Ph3N0M
Try accessing the disk in a Linux environment using gparted if you can.
Heaven Angel
Weird issue.. anyways, did you try via disk management? Click Start Button > Type: Create and format hard disk partitions > Enter > Right click on your drive (the one that's write protected) > Click Offline > Right click again > Click Online. A friend of mine managed to do it somehow. Why don't you ask him to do again? Edited April 5, 2013 by Heaven Angel

But thought since the other disc utility didn't help, this wont either.. Worth a shot still
Ph3N0M
I personally find the Windows Disk Management application crap. Gparted has helped me a lot, including sometimes when Windows had no idea what the *bleep* was going on.
