ALPHA17
HELP Contact your Internet Service Provider first and try to resolve the issue from that end. guys, just got 600va APC ups....i need to keep it on for 12 hrs to charge right??before i use it. For all UPS it is best to let them charge up (12 / 24 Hours) before one starts using them. Why did you get a 600VA UPS though?

ALPHA17
^ Get it out of that strait-jacket please, keep it some-place with more open space. No mounting options for fans on top? I did not ask how many fans are on the graphic card, I wanted to know whether it is a blower design or open top. Blower design vents air out of the system, open top dumps it inside the cabinet (thereby airflow is even more important). Blower cooler, PRO's Independent of airflow system inside cabinet. Dump heat outside cabinet. Cheaper variants carry this design. CON's Can get loud under stress. Not the best efficiency and can cause card to throttle. Very poor accessibility inside the shroud so dust inside, stays inside. Open air cooler, PRO's Depending on the card and disposition, can cool extremely well over blower designs. Generally much quieter in operation. Lower temperatures all around. CON's Overall very dependent on cabinet ambient temperature, if it is high, their efficiency goes down. Dump heat inside cabinet and if that is not vented fast enough it can cause a chain reaction and lead to generally higher temperatures all around. Expensive vis-á-vis stock blower models. Also, the really high temperature being reported ~87°C might be anomalous in nature, keep an eye on it and see how it behaves. If it is following a pattern, then ignore otherwise something might be afoot. Hope this helps, Cheerio! need one for office pc. Will you get reimbursed? reddevil23
Do you need to run both Avast and Malwarebytes or one is sufficient? I currently have both running. Avast is in Silent/Gaming mode.

No space for fan on top of the cabinet ( in front apart from the fan that u can see) only on side panel and mostly that is intake. Front fan (intake) spins very slowly not as fast as the fan at the back that dispels air out of the cabinet GPU fan design = Open air cooler
ALPHA17
Front fan (intake) spins very slowly not as fast as the fan at the back that dispels air out of the cabinet GPU fan design = Open air cooler The stock fans bundled with most cabinets are oriented to silent operation not towards exhausting heat. Adding something like a Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO shall not solve your problem. You will need to improve the rate at which your fan dumps the heat but I really don't see any option considering the paucity of the fan mounts. piper
@pbpoovannagamer : Temp1 and Temp 2 are of which component? And like I said, use Open Hardware Monitor and post screenshot of that. It will give an excellent breakdown of the temperature, load for the components.
Big Boss
Those are mostly North Bridge and/or South Bridge temperatures.

Pacifier
So got Harman Kardon sound sticks 3. They sound excellent. The only downside for me is only one input option. To overcome this , can I use a 3.5mm splitter and connect multiple devices? Will it by anyway cause damage to speakers if by chance both send audio signals. (For ex both my PC and ps3)?. Also any such splitters with switch option available?.. (In small form factor of course)
Man In The Box
Asking here as don't know where else to post. Looking for a basic 21" All-in-one PC setup for my mom. The screen must be HD. I saw some Dell All in One PCs for around 25k. It would be great if someone can suggest a model. Also, do the monitors come with inbuilt speakers? There is only one condition.... the all-in-one must be Windows 7 and not Windows 8. Suggestions please Edited January 22, 2014 by Bad Influence
