Poor choice. Should have gone for SS Siberia instead. =/

Burn...

I personally feel headsets that are good for music are often good for gaming due to the variety of sound frequencies involved.

I'm a bass head so I have to keep changing pants everytime the explosions take place nearby, or if I fire the M60E4.

Not every product Logitech product is good. Siberia was barely $10 costly and had better specification and build quality.

G430 mic won't last for long time due to the plastic folding. Plus, the ear cups will get warm and sweaty due to sport-cloth.

(also, cheap plastic build, ugh).

Anyways, good luck.

Siberia ones don't have surround sound and that is the reason i went for g430s. I got them from ebay for Rs 4600 after applying the coupon.

and i actually read about people's views are everybody (most) did say that the ear cups are quite breathable and can be easily washed and are pretty comfy. As far as mic is concerned, i am not really bothered about it as i don't have much use of them anyways as i am not much into MP gaming. Lets see how they actually are -_-

4500 aint a big price anyways so i can change them after a year or so.

Actually in Siberia V2, 7.1 surround is achieved through USB card. It is sold separately.

(no idea why they stopped selling as a complete pack).

They do sell it in a complete pack but that cost Rs 9700. That is more then double the price of the logitech ones that i bought and i didn't really want to spend that much at the moment.

I also think that i cleaned the heatsink ...... but still no luck any solution

Did you try the Ubuntu Live session?

If it crashes during that as well, I would suggest that you save all your important data and format your system. If that does not solve your issue we are looking at a issue that is beyond my ken.

He also needs ram under 20k? I though he mentioned just motherboard and processor!

Just an option, he can go for whichever he wants according to budget.

^ You don't need to install the OS in a Live session, you just need to boot via the disc / pen-drive (in which the OS image is stored). The session will run from there, you won't loose any data.

Just run the Live OS session and see if the system keeps crashing. Because if it does continue crashing then I am afraid that one or more components maybe on their last legs.
