^ The Core i5 will just bump the cost way above his budget.

Depending on the processor, between the FX-4300 / 6300 and the graphic card he picks up ~40000/- -->50000/-.

Also, just have a look around on OLX / Quickr to see if you can bag any good deals on for the graphic cards locally.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

^ The Intel Core i5 3550 is fine although you are spending close ~16000/- on that combo while for the FX-4300 combo you will close the deal ~12000/- and the gaming performance will be more or less same.

NZXT Gamma will be difficult to locate in Delhi.

The HD7850 will not last for more than a year of gaming, after that you will have to tweak the settings between MEDIUM -->LOW.

You have not included a SMPS in the build.

so most probably will go with him either tomorrow or day after tomorrow

So what say (good to go with the config i mentioned?)

Just confused between 3rd gen core i5 and 4th gen core i5 what's better between these two performance and price wise?

so smps is the one you suggested antec vps

so u suggest which would be better in performance and affordable too ( graphics card and processor)

The Antec SMPS is easier to source in Delhi but the Seasonic one is better quality in my books.

For graphics I would suggest the GTX660Ti (if you can get one) or the R9-270X.

Cool.

Your configuration is fine if only a little pricey. I would suggest you get the AMD option if budget catches up.

The difference between the two generations of Intel processors is the iGP and the power consumption of both, in real world performance they are almost the same.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

What is your PC configuration. The VA rating should be judged by that and not what is the wattage of your SMPS.

APC BR-1100VA (1.1KVA) retails for ~5000/- if I am not misinformed.

Oh! Drat, sorry. I generally don't pay much attention to the signature.

According to Power calculator your PC will be drawing close to ~420W -->450W of power at any given time. So the 1.1KVA BR series UPS should cover you in 9 /10 times.
