Heaven Angel
Different cabinet, much more expensive motherboard (SSD?) and a fully modular SMPS in the case of Agent47. In the case of Heaven_Angel, I am thinking it is the shipping costs involved because otherwise the maths does not add up. Yea this price includes SSD 120 GB and the price is 1.06L i.e (1 Lakh 6 Thousand) not 1L 60K .. For agent, i can understand. And for heaven, he just clarrified, its 1 lakh 6 thousand and not 60k which is was thinking! Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk Lol, thanks for telling me to clarify .. Oh lol, then its a decent quote what he has received.

I don't think theres a need for 16gb ram (assuming this PC is for gaming) you can get 4*2 GB but it's your call. Try to source the components À la carte from wherever you get the best deals. I would suggest a mix of flipkart and local options. I bought my whole RIG from flipkart and very satisified with it. (I know it was a around 5-10% expensive but much better than hunting for parts @ lamington road) Edited April 7, 2014 by ACidDrinkeR

(I know it was a around 5-10% expensive but much better than hunting for parts @ lamington road) I have a reservation on how they deliver their hard-drives and cabinets. Apart from that, I am pretty satisfied with my transactions with them. Downgrading to to i5-4570 would be better because there is only 1-2% performance difference for 2k price difference. On street the difference is ~500/- -->700/- bucks, worth the change to get a higher clocked processor. mango_man
trusted and thanks alpha, aman for your valuable suggestions..my rig is complete now Awesome! Go for the B85M D3H Mobo... why are you unsure? Order from flipkart if availability if the issue. 2. Ram prices are RIDICULOUS right now. Stick to 8gb ram I would say. With the R9 290 under the hood, you wont feel the need for that extra 8gb of ram. Get it later when games actually demand it. !866mhz ram prices will cool down a bit by then i'd suppose. Dont throw away money. I got 16gb ram for editiing purposes, not gaming. 3. Why the R9 290x over the standard R9 290? As far as I have heard, the R9 290 performs as good as the R9 290x after some tinkering with it and even overclocks better. Also heard that R9 290x has more overheating issues. 290x- http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r9-290x-tri-x-oc-4-gb-ddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdsu84szecauez?pid=GRCDSU84SZECAUEZ&otracker=from-search&srno=t_1&query=r9+290&ref=0e2cfa44-2380-4590-9364-4d844c8e2c53 290- http://www.flipkart.com/sapphire-amd-ati-radeon-r9-290-tri-x-oc-4-gb-ddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdsu84fu8wpqfw?pid=GRCDSU84FU8WPQFW&otracker=from-search&srno=t_6&query=r9+290&ref=0e2cfa44-2380-4590-9364-4d844c8e2c53 I think with a Rs. 8000 difference, its wiser to consider your options with a better understanding of their merits. Alpha can educate you more on their differences. Also, LOOK AT THIS DEAL, MSI R9 290 with 15% off, comes to around Rs.30000! Also it has BF4 free! So its effectively Rs. 27500!!! http://www.flipkart.com/msi-amd-ati-radeon-r9-series-290-4gd5-4-gb-gddr5-graphics-card/p/itmdrdpryjsxwfpt?pid=GRCDRDPRYJSXWFPT&otracker=from-search&srno=t_7&query=r9+290&ref=0e2cfa44-2380-4590-9364-4d844c8e2c53 Alpha, any idea how they are offering such an awesome deal? Later as DDR4 comes into market later this year (or early next year), the DDR3 prices will come down and you can add more as per needs or just insurance for the future. Also, LOOK AT THIS DEAL, MSI R9 290 with 15% off, comes to around Rs.30000! Also it has BF4 free! Because the same card is available in Delhi for ~30000/-, the custom version with the Twin Frozr cooler would set you back by the same amount and come with a free copy of BattleField 4 to boot. So that is why. I would strongly suggest against getting the stock R9-290 / 290X series cards, the cooler is awful.

Sent from my ST27i There's not a substantial difference between prices of 840 and 840 evo according to fk, evo is a lot better of the two, pro is kinda costly but better than both.. I have 2x120GB 840 EVOs in my rig. Edited April 9, 2014 by varundbest

You can consider getting a 3.5" enclosure and jerry rigging it with a 2.5" bracket. Sent from my ST27i
