^ I think Prime ABGB, The IT Wares deliver at fixed charges in and around Bombay.

eBay is reliable and safe as long as you keep aware and alert.

But going to Lamington and coming back will be almost 4-5 hours waste and also 100-200₹ travelling cost.. So unless it's < 1700₹ It won't be worth it. I'll send PrimeAbgb an email now.

Also I don't know why but I don't like buying from eBay.

PaisaPay keeps you secure, as the money you pay os not released to the seller unless the deal is completed (there is a fixed time period) without any issues, or you give +ve feedback.

I've had to raise issues very rarely, and that too on eBay.com, not for Indian sellers.

Contact toll free number or local RMA centre : http://www.kaizeninfoserve.com

You will have to go there and hand over the RAM. They will courier you a new one free of charge.

Invoice is not mandatory but recommended to carry along.

Why is it always in the a*s end of the city??

EDIT: Guess I dont have to go there...

UPCOUNTRY DIRECT allows upcountry customers to directly log on to www.kaizeninfoserve.com or

by calling toll free 1800 425 4234 and register the product with problem. Automated authorization

would sent by e-mail / SMS, to the Customers, who then courier the RMA product directly to the

designated service location and track the product online

Most of the parts are here. Will receive ram and cabby tomorrow mostly. Have 1 question.

CPU and mobo both list 1333/1600MHz ram support. And have ordered 1866MHz ram. So will it be underclocked to supported speed automatically, or will it not work at all?

No need to under-clock or tweak any settings. The system will auto adjust.

Once the system is assembled, go into the BIOS / UEFI and see if you can enable Intel XMP.

2 years full warranty. Comparable design of the Asus G750, which i considered for the industrial design. and the config also. Opted in for the Blu Ray burner at the start. Just Blu ray Reader now.

Thoughts? Not getting the thin gaming laptops. I want a desktop replacement which I am willing to lug around for 2 years. Too much traveling. Cannot afford to put up money for LCD's, consoles etc and keep selling. I have a Acer Aspire S7, which my brother eldest brother is trying to use. No more thin. Ok with bulk.

Thanks.

Depends.

What will be main purpose of this laptop?

Price of the laptop?

Clevo products are good but their build quality is very average and bulky. If you are okay with the looks and can take care, go for it.

+ Sager == Gaming is the first purpose.

Well. the build qlty even i feel from video reviews. Cant seem to find any store that got these for display. One of the reasons I looked in to Asus G750JS with similar specs.

The price for the above one comes like ~2300USD. No other gaming laptops are built on MXM platform for user upgrade. :S

What all will you be missing Jeri if you go for some other brand rather than Sager?

From the specification chart it looks like a solid pick but I have never heard of the brand and cannot research effectively as of now because I am mobile.

I just started looking through it 4 days back and I intend to purchase it by next month ~15th. Since its a expensive purchase no hurry.

So do check this out if u can. will love to hear more thoughts. As i can only find nitbits. in notebookreview forums

Plus is oodles of customization, lesser price then competitors, and upgradeable as they use the MXM instead of solder process. But then again, Read the upgrade options are pretty expensive.

Cons I see is no global warranty option, Industrial design is not upto my liking. I wanted the 8 series as it be bit cheaper. But it looks like my dads compaq laptop back in 92. :S :S. Just bigger. :D

Hmm, solid price. :good:

Did you check out FORCE 1763 (22-052) 880M? It is pretty much same but with GTX 880M and no GPU upgrade option. Also, it looks better and has better speakers. I'll personally skip GPU upgrade option and go for it.

Is there any difference between 2 molex to 6 Pin or 1 molex to 6 pin for powering the gpu ?

No. The two Molex point adapter just has separate female and make jacks.
