ALPHA17
I like the no non sense look of the cooler master one, how is the driver support? I am bit frustrated with current software situation with my steel series keyboard. Logitech is solid in that department. Razor products looks cool but bit over priced I think Unfortunately no drivers as far as I am aware. Have been riffing on that point ever since Cooler Master started sending me their gaming peripherals for reviews. They are rather inconsistent on point. Lack of driver support makes me slide towards brands like LOGITECH, Roccat. You can also look at Corsair Vengeance K series keyboards but please be wary that they don't have a lot of options for the Cherry-MX switches. Apart from that, they are well built, solid back up and if you encounter any issues, I can get you in touch with the right people. Hope this helps, Cheerio! UPDATE : Windows refreshed, I can see desktop, but there are no display drivers installed. What should I do now. Go here, download the latest driver for your GPU. Don't install GeForce Experience or such accoutrements, see if that is stable or no. Also, when Windows8 crashes, what reason do you get? ALPHA17
^ What all did you remove and clean Sir? Also, when it crashes and restarts do you get any on-screen message / dump? Either, something is loose or you are facing temperature issues. Use HWMonitor to take stock of your operating temperatures. ALPHA17
Downloaded latest drivers again and again black screen :- I would revert to old drivers and stay put for the interim. Let me find out more on the subject, is this the latest update causing you the issue? Thanks You are welcome. Keep an eye out and hope the reseat was all that was required. =D
mafia97
I tried 337(latest) and 335.23 Both result in same black screen at desktop. Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
piper
Removed and cleaned graphics card and RAM. And rotated the RAM slots. There's no message or dump or BSOD. It just reboots and then gives me the option to load Windows normally or in safe mode. I once again removed and reinstalled graphics card and RAM and haven't had a freeze in the last 30 minutes or so, so hopefully that was it. I have HW Monitor but I'm not sure what the ideal temperatures should be. Here's a screenshot Sam, the temperature TMPIN1 is rather high. Like way too high (127 degrees Celsius). Probably that sensor is wonky (as all min, max, current temp have same value) and just might be the culprit.
mafia97
Fixed the problem. Had to drain capacitors of monitor bye disconnecting power. Updated driver and thing started working :-) Thanks alpha. ALPHA17
^ Could not even guess that one. First time hearing about such a solution. Thanks for the heads up though. Cheerio! =D Where did you get the answer? I did not do much. Edited May 31, 2014 by ALPHA17
mafia97
I found it in windows 7 forums, that if monitor is detected as generic non pnp monitor in windows properties, then driver update will cause this problem. Solution was to drain capacitors of monitor by disconnecting all the wires. It worked :-) (glad i remembered that the monitor was being detected as generic, should have told you this, my bad) Also my gtx580 one dvi port does not give any output, I think i damaged it or something. Can that be fixed? Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk

You have proved, help comes to those who help themselves. Also my gtx580 one dvi port does not give any output, I think i damaged it or something. Can that be fixed? Short of putting it in for RMA, no.
mafia97
Ok, If any more problems come I will RMA it, I guess warranty would be applicable. Yeah, thanks. Thanks for all the help though :-) Sent from my GT-N7100 using Tapatalk
ALPHA17
^ Which Windows you on Sir? Go to the Search TAB, open EventViewer and go through recent logs to pin-point an issue. If you are unfamiliar with the process, following are the steps. Don't delete anything please, just go through the most recent file(s) and see what causes Windows to terminate. ALPHA17
I'm using Windows 7 64-bit The link you gave says to go to "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Event Viewer\ExternalLogs" But there is no Event Viewer folder under "C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\" Have you turned on view options for hidden files and folders. ALPHA17
^ Roger Sir. It is a big gaping hole issue, I am no expert on this, Seven forums. Did you download anything recently. There is a Fix It solution provided there. Should I try it? Try it, considering it is MicroSoft official, hopefully it should get things on track. In the meanwhile I shall keep scrobbling around for more information. Edited May 31, 2014 by ALPHA17

ColorCodePurple
So I just recieved my R9 290 Tri X from FlipKart. The fragile sticker on the box was open, and the driver CD outside its casing. Should I be worried? I dont plan to assemble this of rthe next 10 days atleast. because of some limitations so I wont know if its working or not. Also am I eligible for AMD's never settle forever promo?
ALPHA17
Also am I eligible for AMD's never settle forever promo? Do you have any voucher that you got inside the box? You can go to Sapphire's site and see if they have anyway to redeem the offer. So I just recieved my R9 290 Tri X from FlipKart. If no, nothing you can raise with flipkart. Also, most of these boxes are opened by the distributor themselves for verification. Yeah I did. Let's see if it helps. Roger. They had a Saphire select club thing, which is a gamble promotion (Gold members receive the "privilege" to enter our giveaways which they may or might not win. i registered and they had no giveaways on. Lots of bullshit. I hope the card isn't a scam like that I dont think so, I havent checked yet. NO point taking the graphics card out of its protective shroud before assembling. Just bring it out of the anti-static bag will you and give it a look, its not as if your hands will cause it to combust on contact. Then replace it as it was.
