bneck
Is the cpu that much of a bottleneck? I don't think I can upgrade that anytime soon...Also does it really make a difference if the ram is not in pairs? I have 2 x 4gb sticks right now. Better to buy another 2 x 4 or can I run with just one for now?
ALPHA17
Is the cpu that much of a bottleneck? It is, not that you need to change it ASAP, just be wary that you will face problems the larger the files you try to manipulate. Also does it really make a difference if the ram is not in pairs? It does. And more importantly buying a single one now and trying to find a similar one later is a pain. So buy a pair of RAM now, if that is your eventual aim down the line. CarbonCore
You need quad core or 8 core cpu for Photoshop and stuff, an i7 would give massive improvements over 4430. And yeah, more RAM, as much as you can ram it in. Memory is always in pair for dual channel CPU, if you don't pair the performance is dropped to half. ALPHA17
Memory is always in pair for dual channel CPU, if you don't pair the performance is dropped to half. It is not so black and white. But yeah! Dual channel > single channel any day, also, easier to buy a pair now than trying to hunt a compatible module later. Thank you. Welcome. reds3a
Hey everyone, I've been gaming for the past 10 years (i started when i was 6) and have been loving every moment of it ever since but i have been in a tough situation for a few months now. MY XBOX 360 broke . The main reason for why i bought my xbox was because of halo which is the game that started my passion for gaming in general, but ive decided that maybe its time to think about switching to the glorious world of pc gaming that i never seem to hear the end of. I had a few questions to all you Indian gamers out there and i came up with a list, so please feel free to answer only one particular question or all if you can. if i want to build a gaming pc from scratch where can i get good deals for parts and good parts in general in India cause even though i have read build a pc guides I sill haven't managed to find parts online. What do you guys think is better. Explain in any way that you can, games, ease of access, etc. Do you guys know of any game on the pc that could resemble Halo at all. If you think that its a good idea to switch to pc gaming do you think i should build it myself or buy a pc and keep upgrading. I am also planning to start a youtube gaming and entertainment channel in a few years so i would like a computer that could run video editing software as well. If i go on to start my gaming channel what kind of vids would you like to see. Tips and tricks, montages ,all out shits and giggles and what games in particular. I might post a few more queries later on as well. Also if anyone rocks a really good pc build please feel free to post the specs, components, games you play and where you bought all your parts from. I hope this question helps other gamers in my dilemma as well thanks a lot in advance, Ryan

ALPHA17
Any recommendation for a mouse? Is a gaming mouse worth it? The extended warranty and in most cases better build quality itself makes them with it in my books. Also, stay away from that Dragon War thingamajig. varundbest
What is RMA? Return Material Authorization or in simple words, getting d item replaced through warranty claim.
