playstation
Do they ask to turn it on even if it is in the main luggage? In general, how much inspection is done for the contents of the main luggage? I have several spices, a monitor, and some cooking utensils/tools in the luggage alongwith usual cloths and books. I will also carry PS3 in the hand baggage. My relative was carrying some pickles faced some problem with that but had good source in the airport ..so manage to go through with it. You'll most probably have to take out your PS3 and put it separately in another tray at the x-ray, which looks kinda dorky in the airport

MoonStruckHorrors
Was wondering what is good for the battery of my new laptop. Always connected? Plugging in after draining to (almost) zero? Or something in between? Edited August 4, 2014 by MoonStruckHorrors
playstation
Was wondering what is good for the battery of my new laptop. Always connected? Plugging in after draining to (almost) zero? Or something in between? What i have understood of batteries in laptops,mp3 etc are that they start depleting after some regular charging the effects start showing bit later. Now i dont know if when directly connected to power outlet..do laptops change to alternate direct power source instead of still relying on batteries which is constantly refilling . They tell you to take out anything that can blocks x-ray from passing through, like laptop, ipad etc and put it in tray.
Ph3N0M
BTW, I have a few sealed games. Will that create any trouble, or should I unseal them beforehand?

I am not talking about whole process of security when you get inside check-in...but security inside airport here. BTW, I have a few sealed games. Will that create any trouble, or should I unseal them beforehand? Just open them up to be on safe side.

Just make sure that it does not heat up too much, that is going to damage it the most. facing input lag with mouse in bf4 changed the mouse with a regular mouse still the problem persists This for your problem. Ph3N0M
You can use your SSD. Just go to boot menu and select SSD as primary boot option. Okay, not so easy. Are you planning to buy similar motherboard? Intel to Intel is possible. Example: P67 to Z77. If yes, there are some ways to use old SSD. You'll have to re-install some applications. If no, you'll have to install fresh. Also, you need Windows 8 DVD. It's better to install on new partition and transfer to SSD. 20-25 GB is enough. Or install on thumb drive and later move it to SSD. _ Regarding license key, use Belarc to see your license code. Just saw this edit. I have an ASUS P8Z77-V, and would most probably be using an Intel-based motherboard. What will happen to the non-Windows files that are currently on the SSD in this method? ALPHA17
What will happen to the non-Windows files that are currently on the SSD in this method? They will become redundant. You would have the choice to delete them. If there are any games on-board, you would need to re-verify their integrity and that should be it.
