I ordered the Thor, then cancelled it after realizing 2 macro buttons wont be enough for dota. And i was also wondering about the middle mouse click.

Meanwhile i gave my G300 to Rashi, they said they will mail Logitech about the condition of the mouse (some cuts on the wire) and they will RMA it if they approve. Dont think they will approve it though. :|

Now confused if i should buy the DW or another G300.

What is the difference in rendertime between an i7 4770k and and i5 4670k(in %) ? Is it worth spending extra if im learning 3D modelling on Maya/3DS Max? I will be using default mental ray renderer.

I will be also trying my hand at Adobe Premiere Pro/After Effects and Photoshop

^ It is worth the extra cash for any multi-thread application user.

Render times depending on the settings will vary but will be positively influenced by the extra processing capabilities of the Core i7 processor.

Here is a benchmark run @Anandtech.

^ GIGABYTE motherboards were preferred over any other about two years back, although that might have changed.

Also, never done a Hackintosh build, so, better luck on the interwebz. You can look at TechEnclave if you are interested in such builds.

^ No the PC is getting power, that much is apparent. Check the I/O panel cluster, it might be that it has got damaged or the connection is faulty.

This part to be specific on the motherboard. Generally on the bottom right hand corner.
